As others have noted, I don't think anyone understands the rationale of which properties Disney lets pass and which ones they take by ROFR. Since I started going through this process, I have been amazed at the contracts that pass and those that get taken. While I would have expected the cheaper contracts to be the ones taken, that doesn't always hold true.

I sure hope that's true! It's now been 22 days since submitting our bankruptcy listing for AKL. I'm starting to get extremely nervous after seeing all these other listings get taken. Hopefully we'll hear something soon.

How do you know if it's a bancruptcy listing (or a divorce/forecloser/etc) when you are the buyer?

We knew because Fidelity told us up front that it was. Apparently bankruptcies can take a month longer than normal resales, so they wanted to make sure we were ok with that.

It is wonderful customer service wise that they were able to alert you!
