Been lurking the forums since we got back from WDW...rescinded a Direct Contract for 50 points at the Poly in favor of:

YoSteph---$82-$12300-150-SSR-SEP-0/16, 150/17, 150/18, - sent Feb 22.

Seller pays 2016 MF (since they borrowed/used all the points) and 50% of Closing Costs ($255) Buyer pays other half ($255)

Hoping the split of Closing costs won't affect ROFR...fingers crossed.

Wow, I am shocked that this was taken! Not too often do you see a ROFR exercised on a AKV contract, I am sure that makes it all the more frustrating. I really hope that you find a contract that is even better in the near future. Best of Luck!

Sorry to hear that. That is surprising from what I've seen in the threads that pass. Based on what has passed this year, it is surprising that it was taken. Hopefully you can find another contract as good or better.

Been DVC with family (mom, sis) since 2006 at SSR, but now married with 2 little ones of my own and want our own points without asking if others are using them. First time at resale and really like BCV l, always try for WL but never goes through. Hopefully this passes and no more WL for me!

Sorry to hear that, that's the first AK I have seen taken...I'm nervous ours will be taken too since it is fairly loaded and about the same cost pp as yours

The broker told us that upfront, because bankruptcy listings take longer than typical resales.
