Yay we passed! Can't believe they took our stripped contract and passed on this one! But we are very happy as this is a better contract for us than the one they took. So now we have to decide whether to rent out the banked 2016 points or sneak in an extra trip!

Glad to see this passed, We just put a 100 point BCV contract into ROFR that is nearly identical to yours except priced $2 higher per point.

What happens to all of the 2015 points I've been seeing in contracts lately? Aren't they all expired all ready?

They would have been banked into 2016 so if the UY is later on in the year they are still available.

Doing the happy dance in San Antonio....just got an email from the broker Disney has waived ROFR!

Congrats!!! We are waiting for our 130$pp for BLT 90 pts from 3/10... Hope in a few days I share the same news!! I can't even take waiting anymore after losing one prior...

Yes so for mine, the 9/2015 points were banked to start 9/2016 and would expire 8/31/17 and were already banked. Not a lot of time to use them, but if you can, lots of points!

Because I'm waiting and wanted to see what else was available "just in case," I happened to see that Fidelity has a 1000 point (NOT A TYPO) contract for sale. What the ****? (Who buys a 1000 point contract?)

It's not as rare as you'd think. DVC used to have higher minimums for one thing and people just didn't split up contracts. If they thought they'd use 1,000 points that's the size contract they would buy. It could be an individual or a business.

Now with fixed weeks larger contracts are seen a bit more - there's currently a VGF for 1313 points for sale - only $156,000 ($119/pt) for a GV during week 51. I see that it's now pending - 1 day to sell! If someone wanted a large chunk of points for VGF that's a nice discount over the going price.

Is that the week between Christmas and New Years, or the week before? If it's the former, I can see that going very quickly. Regardless, that time frame should include Christmas in most years, right?
