I'd just do one offer at a time. You'll have to cough up another deposit and then you'll be on the hook for 2 contracts if ROFR is waived on both. Yes, you can rescind within 10 days, but one could pass while the other is pending so you'll still be on a knife's edge that way, and also it's just really rude and inconsiderate to submit an offer on something you're not definitely going to buy, IMHO. If you do that, it's not available to another potential buyer, and you're wasting the seller's and broker's time.
It seems to take forever, but it's not really a big deal in the scheme of things. Submit an offer, cross fingers, and repeat if necessary!
