ROFR Thread April to June 2025 *PLEASE SEE FIRST POST FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FORMATTING TOOL*

As someone who has been bidding low on BW lately this is lower than what many are selling for. You did great. Congrats!!
Thank you! Knowing there’s 150 we can rent out also helps as that would cover the fees and closing costs on the contract plus a little extra. Pity we won’t get to use them ourselves but won’t say no to some money back in our pocket.

Choppers---$110-$17445-150-BWV-Oct-0/24, 300/25, 150/26- sent 6/19

The speed they accepted I’m annoyed I didn’t bid lower but we’re happy with the total price.
I think you probably think maybe they would've went lower because of the same seller taking $100 for the 25 pointer right? I thought about this one and it makes sense for the seller to take less on the 25 pointer after your offer was accepted, now they can get everything notarized at the same time and be done with the process as opposed to waiting for the 2nd contract to sell at asking, also only 25 points means not as much money lost as they would lose on a 150 pointer. Again I think you did great!

It’s more that they immediately accepted the offer literally 2 minutes after I got off the phone with the broker. I honestly expected a counter or something. Anyway, deal done and we’re happy :)

Is that right... $1099 in fees + 2500 for the contract? That seems really high on fees in comparison to the contract cost, but maybe that is how small contracts are.
If it’s a fidelity contract the $225 should be rolled into the price per point so it’s really $109 per point, than you have $226.50 reimb 2025 dues, leaving $647.50 for closing costs so if my guesses are correct the math is mathing.

Expanding your search to BW?
I have been sorely tempted—I love BW almost as much as BC, but two things stopped me from bidding $110 on that contract that ultimately went for $108.

1) Already have BCV points, and I want to be able to combine and book further out.
2) Soon my family will need either studios or 2BD (unless the crescent lake resorts miraculously get another sleeping surface in 1BD), both of those room types are very difficult to book at BW— even P/G are starting to get challenging in some seasons. I also know I’m the kind of person who will be annoyed they are never able to get BW instead of just enjoying P/G at the same rate. 🤪

closing costs plus dues for 2025 and the admin 225 fee. small contracts still pay alot for closing costs. But to match our resort and uy and a small add on that we needed it worked!
