This may be just a coincidenceJAM33---$238-$61939-250-VGC-Sep-0/24, 250/25, 250/26- sent 5/1
Trying yet again, I'm hoping $238 is high enough to avoid ROFR (even on loaded contract), because after 2 ROFRs I'm starting to get annoyed lol
Looking forward to seeing this pass for youJAM33---$238-$61939-250-VGC-Sep-0/24, 250/25, 250/26- sent 5/1

While this is my first contract, I talked to DVC about 1-2 years back about buying VGC direct and they still occasionally call me to see if I'm interested. This may be just a coincidencebut they probably have some VGC direct points you can get now... for a premium of course
Jokes aside, good luck!
Supposedly, my guide is checking every day for VGC for me, but I told her I would only take a June year because that's what I already have and I don't want to deal with having another use year. While this is my first contract, I talked to DVC about 1-2 years back about buying VGC direct and they still occasionally call me to see if I'm interested.
It has occurred to me (more than once) in the past couples days that if they called me right how and offered direct points I'm not sure I would be able to hold back being sassy
Expect a call on June 1st….Supposedly, my guide is checking every day for VGC for me, but I told her I would only take a June year because that's what I already have and I don't want to deal with having another use year.
Ha! I should know about my resale contract by then. I might end up with a direct and resale purchase in the same week.Expect a call on June 1st….
That would be a fantastic week!Ha! I should know about my resale contract by then. I might end up with a direct and resale purchase in the same week.![]()
Both my resale contracts I feel like this board might judge me because I did asking price and didn't try to barter. Both were fantastic deals ($125 BLT, double points; $90 SSR, double points) and I didn't want to try to nickel and dime them, I just wanted to respect their realistic asking with an immediate full price offer. Might be a sucker? But I got both the contracts I want without having to go back and forth and try to short change them when they were reasonable!I sent both of these to friends looking to buy. I knew they'd be instantly gone. By the time we were able to get ahold of them both were already off the site. I knew they would go fast because they were priced right! Congrats to the two parties that ended up with them.
Nobody should be judgy about how you want to spend your personal time and personal money. I don't like to mess around, either. If I am willing to pay the list price, I'll just pay it and get on with my day. Other people enjoy spending a lot of time negotiating and that works great for them. Both my resale contracts I feel like this board might judge me because I did asking price and didn't try to barter. SSR Double points for $90 is really good if you tried to nickel and dime them you probably would have lost itBoth my resale contracts I feel like this board might judge me because I did asking price and didn't try to barter. Not a sucker, it's whatever works best for you, and in the end the price you pay per point is a small small fraction of the overall cost you pay for DVC. I negotiate because thats how I roll in every day life. For me the best part of buying a DVC contract is the deal making process. Im just weird like that. I am also okay if I lose out over negotiating. I can say I negotiated much less on my first two contracts than all the rest because I didnt want the points as much as I did on the first two. Both my resale contracts I feel like this board might judge me because I did asking price and didn't try to barter. Good deal as far as I can see unless they were 1000 points contracts….Both my resale contracts I feel like this board might judge me because I did asking price and didn't try to barter. Great buy, you're either stalking the aggregators or got super lucky to spot it and snag it!
Thanks! Super super lucky. Excited to finally make my way into the Crescent Lake area!I sent both of these to friends looking to buy. I knew they'd be instantly gone. I mean, those are great buys. The way I see it, if a seller used their contract the way I have and do, then they're probably losing some form of happiness they had. Maybe not, but my opinion is it's likely, and I feel like I'd bring onto myself a special level of bad luck trying to nickel and dime someone over something that was likely important to them. If it's a good deal it doesn't matter if you didn't haggle. If it's a great deal then you would have likely lost it by trying to haggle anyway. 2 of my resale contracts I paid full asking price for and I don't regret them a bit. Both my resale contracts I feel like this board might judge me because I did asking price and didn't try to barter. 2 amazing deals. I remember you getting the VGC.. and people be saying DVC going down in price resale wise.If it's a good deal it doesn't matter if you didn't haggle. BWV for $99 a point a year and a half ago. I think I've seen maybe 1 deal come through here that was as good or better and that's it.
VGC for $225 a point a year ago and a fairly small contract too. I rarely see it go this low, and DVC has been ROFRing it now up to at least $230 so I am glad I bit when I did.
