ROFR Thread April to June 2025 *PLEASE SEE FIRST POST FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FORMATTING TOOL*

Hey Holly, congrats on the contract, I think we bought from the same seller around the same time. I was looking at your contract at that time as well. Congrats!!
The seller had another contract with full 2024 points that they accepted a bid on. I bid on Saturday and Monday was told they accepted someone right before. Looks like you got it. Congrats! So I moved my offer to this one. Congrats to you too. Now we wait for the points. Im hoping they sign their contract as quickly as they accepted the offers.

Incredible price with a loaded contract—I don’t think this had any chance of passing with a domestic seller. They’ve been calling to offer me direct VGC points sporadically for the past few months — but never have anything for the later UYs, I bet Disney would love to get a few hundred 2024 VGC points back.

I have a spreadsheet for that too! :rotfl2: When I return home I calculate what discounts I got that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise and add them to my spreadsheet that tracks my break even for my DVC purchases. I haven't added my lounge sodas though... I think I should.
So the trick here is not including stuff that you only bought *because you have a DVC discount* which is sometimes tricky, but for example, I personally don’t include sorcerers pass savings v Incredipass because I’d never be buying WDW APs without DVC savings, I’d be going 2x a year with tickets at most …now if the sorcerers pass is less than 2x 4 day tickets, I might count that? I don’t think the discount actually impacts my mobile order practices or even sit down dining choices, but I do use it to justify more merch, especially pins.

Similar for drinks at the lounge, it’s only a savings if it means we don’t otherwise stop for sodas/coffee and I would consider the cost of one drink per person, as opposed to the 2-3 drinks we often consume if we are there for an hour.
Are you comparing it to no discount at all? We have APs, but on the rare occasion that we do an expensive character meal DVC would save us an additional $30ish for sure. The lounges would be nice.
We joined DVC direct before any of us had passes, so we’ve counted all discounts. Now we also have annual passholder perks and I guess shouldn’t count the overlapping discounts as long as we have passes … but I think a lot of the discounts we use are DVC only (cabanas at aulani, behind the scenes tours, boat rentals at WDW…maybe they are available to APs as well but I don’t think so?).

Please PM me if your guide ever tells you that you can get Fall UYs, so far they are only willing to give me Feb and I do NOT want a new UY.

I was specifically looking for June to add to my VGC points in that UY, so I’m not sure about later months. He is really good at looking for and grabbing VGC points, and I like having a guide at DLR since we’re locals. Let me know if you’d like his info! I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post his card 😬

My guide (he calls himself our counselor) has grabbed 800 VGC points just this past month. They’re definitely buying a lot back!
My guide asked me today if I am interested in more VGC points. He didnt say if he did have any, but I said no and I blamed it on the refurb not being done like it should be. My real reason is I cant afford anymore direct VGC points.
