My husband and sister just did their first race in April and loved it so much that we're looking at more trips!!

We had ours in the pipeline already before our 1st outing in the recent race. Looked at each other and said, uhoh, may need another resale if we are going to keep participating as those April points are holiday pricey.

Lol we just did the same - another 150 at VGF for January marathon weekend stays. We're renting points for marathon 2025 and that turned into "well maybe I should run it every year" and then to "well at that point it's probably cheaper to add on than to rent again or cut our other vacations short"

I got an email about my VGC today from the DVC title company, it said that they were just checking in and Disney was still deciding on ROFR, and that there is nothing I need to do for now.... Such a tease lol

It really is. But hopefully good news is right around the corner. The last two times I got the teaser email, I got notice I passed in the next day or two.

Added another 50 points on direct at Riviera a couple of weeks ago. I'll tell ya, getting those points in the account in 30 minutes was faster than waiting to get just the initial response to an offer from the broker on probably 90% of my resale contracts, LOL.



ETA: Of course, I'm still checking the aggregator sites daily to see if anything else catches my eye...
