Aww, thanks! All these approvals the last couple days makes me nervous mines getting some real consideration. I had hoped the fact there were no points available til August would deter them from taking it, but it is only 80 a point for ssr. I guess it'll be next week one way or another, 30 days is Wednesday I believe.

Pangyal, you have been so supportive of everyone on this thread... Thank you for all you do. Looking forward to what ever next week brings. So happy to have met you all on this thread & for sharing the journey - my first into DVC ownership... Fingers crossed.

I have to wonder with all of the recent contracts that passed faster than normal, if DVC actually decided to be nice and not take contracts of folks who made it in before the deadline with their first purchase. Obviously they have no obligation at all to do that, but I think anyone who got their first DVC contract to ROFR before 4/4 and then had it taken would be a lot more upset than normal. Not bad PR and pretty much no cost to just pass them through as long as they're reasonable.

Quite honestly I would have had a real change of heart towards Disney had there been a lot refusals being posted. However ours passed and after only 21 days along with so many others that passed the same day as ours, my faith and love was restored.

But we saw at least a couple just get taken from pre 4/4 deals too.

If they take mine I'll have a very hard time convincing my wife to even look at dvc again. She's had a tiny bit of buyers remorse since we signed it and has said if they take it she doesnt want to go thru the hassle again. Were right by Disneyland and really we'd only use it a couple times in florida, most of it would be to aulani or at the grand cal just got a long weekend.

Took me 6 yrs to convince the DH. No buyer's remorse... Just that he doesn't go into big decisions easily. The back & forth with the benefits on 4/4 was tough... Just have to wait & see. I have no plan B at the moment.

Hahaha no plan b here either. The 4/4 changes are the thing that make her feel like it's probably good if it goes through. Otherwise as much as dvc sounds good and makes sense some sense for us financially, there are other options she likes too and would prefer to wait until the kids are older. Really I think the concern is that we might spend more time "resorting" than exploring, something we've always done before. Plus the sentiment seems to be dvc members in general get worse treatment than cash paying guests and now resale buyers even moreso. But... We REALLY like aulani and a yearly trip there could be a lot of fun. If it gives us a couple "free-ish" trips to Florida that could be cool too.

So... Here we are, day 27 of rofr on 300 ssr points lol. If it doesnt go through, my guess is we'll just rent houses thru vrbo instead.
