ROFR RE: Gifting??

I am very familiar with the ROFR procedure (as my divorce needed one and it was an automatic waiver but we still had to submit). I am considering buying small (25-35 point) SSR contracts to use now and gift to my daughter, nieces and nephews when they each get married. (at least 12-18 years away). Does anyone know if the ROFR is automatic for gifts or is this one idea I should just forget about.

You should contact DVC as to where they draw the line on family and automatic waivers. What I've heard would suggest that primary relatives which to me would mean children but not nieces/nephews. Let us know if you find out anything.
