ROFR feels like waiting forever

We just put on offer in on Monday, it was accepted, contracts signed and returned..sent to Disney yesterday for ROFR...I am on day 2 of waiting and I feel like i did when I was trying to conceive...the two week wait felt like it was moving in SLOW motion....now, I have to wait 4 weeks!!! ACK! What will I do to keep myself busy? Wait, I know, I will obsess on Disney boards... I think I need to buy some books to busy my brain! OK, I feel better now that my confession is out...I am officially impatient. Cross your fingers for me that we get good news....SOON!

I'm in the exact same boat. I take solace in looking at all of the other similar deals listed for sale so that if we don't get this one, I'm comforted that there are many comparables out there (and we're not planning on traveling until next October anyway). Good luck!

I'll send you some pixie dust, because we're waiting too! We're about 1/2+ through, nearly 3 weeks into the wait for an add on.

My DSis has been in WDW for the past few days, and she's called me a few times to say how much fun she's having (last night they were at MNSSHP, she was so happy!!!) and to say thank you for the villa she's staying at and for the help I gave in planning. Right now, she's on ME she's hoping that resale comes through, too...we would love to have a tree house for next autumn's trip!!!

To all of you who are waiting. I was in your shoes a few weeks ago so I can feel your pain. It was 3 wks. from submitting to Disney to actually passing ROFR and it felt like forever. It seems now like it is taking almost the entire 30 days. So, just keep reading the boards and scanning the resale ads to have a backup in mind and know that you are not alone in your waiting!

thanks for the pixie dust..right back at you! We were in WDW last week and got bad addonitis...I have a trip planned for Summer and bought flights for Feb, so I am going to need the points! Let's hope my gamble pays off!

Yes, I do the same thing.....and good thing too since our 1st contract never made it to ROFR because seller had a probate issue and the 2nd and
3rd were ROFR'd. I am always eyeing another contract just in case. I make an offer the same day we get the news from Disney.
Try waiting for the last 3 months!!! We made our first offer in July, second in August and third in September and now the fourth one went to Disney on Monday
