I had such a good experience with them that I almost made a thread about it. I decided not to as it was kind of a rebuttal to a negative thread that was here a while back and I figured let sleeping dogs lie.
When I initially filled out the online form to list my contract, I was emailed back by Andy, who the previous negative thread was about from what I gathered (his name wasn't mentioned, but it was heavily alluded to). I had an inital "brace myself" moment due to the negativity, but I do like to have my own experiences. So, I got over it in a couple seconds. His email was very clear and he made it idiot proof as far as walking me through all the steps to get the information they needed to list my contract. It was so incredibly easy to follow. The email also seemed to address the issues that the previous complaint thread mentioned. He said that they worked as a team and anyone could contact me when offers come in and that he works all hours and I might get emails from him day or night (those were things that were upsetting to the person who posted the thread).
The email also said that I could list my contract at a set price - not open to negotiations. I listed high and was open to negotiations so I didn't go that route. Anyway, it was obvious to me that the feedback here was completely accounted for. Seeing that they were so responsive with the negative feedback made me feel comfortable with them because it was obvious that they wanted to give a good experience. I ended up hearing from a different agent after the listing was live because she was the one who go the offer. She was also very excellent with her communication and gave me literally all the information I could need in the offers. I never felt like I had a question to either agent as they had both been very comprehensive with their communications, even anticipating any potential questions that could come up.
So, I do believe that some people have a bad experience, which is true in all businesses, but I think DVCRM takes the feedback seriously and changes how they do things to make it better. I'm 100% comfortable doing business with them as both a buyer and seller. I also bought theme park tickets through their associated company - Unlocked Magic and that was also an excellent experience.
I haven't dealt with the
Timeshare Store in years, but I also feel 100% comfortable with them. When I knew nothing about
DVC use years, borrow/bank, etc, they were the ones who explained everything to me in detail and guided me towards not making a choice that I would regret later. They were so much better than the DVC retail sales people.
