ROFR Decisions

I saw a lot of posts yesterday of people getting their ROFR approval notices. I have not seen any today and i am pretty sure people post within minutes of notification. Does Disney only approve ROFR on certain days of the week? Yesterday a lot of posts were approvals of submission dates 1 day before mine - i was hoping in that case to hear today - but maybe by end of week?

I don't know if any outsider knows for sure. I do know that direct sales come first. Back when BLT was first selling, I was told that Disney temporally reassigned admin CM's from their resale duties to help process direct sales.

We just got the notice today that we passed ROFR and ours was submitted on 3/17. Now the wait for the closing docs...

We just heard that our off passed ROFR today!!! So good luck to everyone who is still waiting. We are new to the boards and new to DVC so this is an experience!

Our documents were submitted on 3/16, we haven't heard yet....so, I can't figure out the reasoning, I see some that submitted on 3/17 were notified.

I would ask your resale company. Your paperwork may have gotten lost. Where are you buying into? It seems Disney is taking between 28 and 30 days to complete the ROFR process. Our resale agent was notified on a Sunday (i have a copy of the email) that we passed ROFR so i think they are working 7 days a week until the rush is over. Once you get beyond 30 days i think you are supposed to be able to go a head and close w/o the ROFR notice. I would talk to your agent. Good luck, it is nerve racking waiting for information to come down the line.

Hi All,

First post and we just passed ROFR today 4/5 for SSR. We submitted on 3/18 and passed 4/5. Broker says it'll be a few weeks for closing.
