Not currently. They typically don’t ROFR resorts which are not sold out. They are still actively selling Aulani inventory.

According to this article it's only 2/3rd sold out after 11 years of sales.

Good point. You’d think Disney would at least take those back because they’re losing money. I think Disney can’t wait to get all these direct points off their hands.

I love dvcnews. This is just a rough estimate but I think it’s credible. Disney will probably have an even better fire sale to get rid of whats left in the next 10 years.

I love dvcnews. This is just a rough estimate but I think it’s credible. Disney will probably have an even better fire sale to get rid of whats left in the next 10 years.

Who knows. Aulani’s sales data is completely hush hush. Honestly, I think 2/3 sold out according to dvcnews is probably very generous. Disney probably declared way more rooms than actually sold to sell cash rooms. And Disney might be fine with that.

Yeah, Im encountering a lot of people who took the bait. Aulani is probably the best entry level SAP right now. But my prediction is that future owners will be strapped with hefty annual dues going foreward.

Yeah, for most people, Aulani is a once in a lifetime trip. They also offer a lot of kamaaina discount to locals or military discount to the heavy military presence here on Oahu.

Our state senate just passed a minimum wage increase from $10/hr to $18/hr by 2026. That’s a huge increase in only 4 years. They’re also planning to raise and extend the transit accommodation tax to pay for our beleaguered rail and a new stadium. They’re also talking about imposing a daily $20 green fee for all tourists. Our politicians are coming after businesses and tourists. Be prepared to pay…

They're gonna get themselves that rail system come hell or high water, that seems to be a fact of life at this point. A replacement for Aloha Stadium (that serves mostly as a tourist swap meet 95% of the year) also seems like a super wise investment too...
