Is Disney exercising their right of first refusal on Aulani? If yes what price point? Thanks!

Aulani will sell out sooner or later, especially if DVC brings back some of those generous incentives on a semi regular basis. They will probably never take back Aulani on ROFR
According to this article it's only 2/3rd sold out after 11 years of sales.Aulani will sell out sooner or later, especially if DVC brings back some of those generous incentives on a semi regular basis.
Good point. You’d think Disney would at least take those back because they’re losing money. I think Disney can’t wait to get all these direct points off their hands. What surprises me more than anything, DVC doesn't seem to be ROFR'ing any subsidized Aulani contracts either. Great times!!!
Great3
I love dvcnews. This is just a rough estimate but I think it’s credible. Disney will probably have an even better fire sale to get rid of whats left in the next 10 years.According to this article it's only 2/3rd sold out after 11 years of sales.

Do we think Aulani will EVER sell out?!?According to this article it's only 2/3rd sold out after 11 years of sales.

I think some people bought the Aulani sale on the last incentives as SAP?That’s my thought as well.
Who knows. Aulani’s sales data is completely hush hush. Honestly, I think 2/3 sold out according to dvcnews is probably very generous. Disney probably declared way more rooms than actually sold to sell cash rooms. And Disney might be fine with that.Do we think Aulani will EVER sell out?!?
From what I understand, Disney sells alot of cash rooms at Aulani? (and makes a profit worth it)Who knows. Aulani’s sales data is completely hush hush. Yeah, Im encountering a lot of people who took the bait. Aulani is probably the best entry level SAP right now. But my prediction is that future owners will be strapped with hefty annual dues going foreward.I think some people bought the Aulani sale on the last incentives as SAP?
I know the incentives for 300 points at Aulani was a big incentive...
Yeah, for most people, Aulani is a once in a lifetime trip. They also offer a lot of kamaaina discount to locals or military discount to the heavy military presence here on Oahu. From what I understand, Disney sells alot of cash rooms at Aulani? (and makes a profit worth it)
Maybe. Or maybe not.Yeah, Im encountering a lot of people who took the bait. Aulani is probably the best entry level SAP right now. But my prediction is that future owners will be strapped with hefty annual dues going foreward.
Our state senate just passed a minimum wage increase from $10/hr to $18/hr by 2026. That’s a huge increase in only 4 years. They’re also planning to raise and extend the transit accommodation tax to pay for our beleaguered rail and a new stadium. They’re also talking about imposing a daily $20 green fee for all tourists. Our politicians are coming after businesses and tourists. Be prepared to pay…Maybe. Or maybe not.
They're gonna get themselves that rail system come hell or high water, that seems to be a fact of life at this point. A replacement for Aloha Stadium (that serves mostly as a tourist swap meet 95% of the year) also seems like a super wise investment too...Our state senate just passed a minimum wage increase from $10/hr to $18/hr by 2026.
