Rodney Dangerfield dies

He was a great one, I kind of knew he wouldn't make it after this surgery, and being in a coma. He has been around a very LONG time. I love his skits, one being: "I met this girl and she told me to come on over later, there will be nobody home, so I went over....there was NOBODY home!"

I liked his films a lot- "Caddyshack", "Easy Money", etc all great. He'll be missed.

I got to see him live once over 20 years ago. A Friend and I were sitting on the aisle, about 3 tows back from the stage. My friend was in a very in a very foul mood mood that night. I was laughing like crazy, but my firend didn't even reak a smile. In the middle of his routine, Rodney stopped, looked at my friend and said "Hey kid, why aren't you laughing? This is some of my best stuff here". My friend cracked a grin and Rodney said, "That's it, there aint nothing so bad you cant laught at it. Besides, you think you got it bad? Let me tell you..." and he was back into his routine again.

RIP Rodney.

one of his funniest lines came out about three weeks ago, showing that even in the face of death he had one goal, to make people laugh...
he was asked about his prognosis for his upcoming heart surgery and he said "If all goes well I'll be out of here in a week or two. If not, I'll be out in about an hour and a half."

God bless him, He once was on a Plane we were on going to Florida. Very funny, he gave us a "I don't get any respect" Caddy Shack is one of my favorite movies.
