Rock'n'Roller Coaster closed for rehab?

Does anyone know if the Rock'n'Roller Coaster in MGM is going to be closed for rehab the 1st week of Feb. '07? I read this on some website, but it's not listed on the Official website. I can't remember what website I read it on. Anyone know if this is true?

There are several other threads on this topic.

It has been posted on mouseplanet.com for a while now, and they are usually right about ride rehabs.

No offical word though. Keep checking back here and I'm sure you'll know when and if it becomes official.

I do believe it will be closed. Bummer for us it is one of the few rides we do at MGM luckily we are eating lunch there and after that we will probably head over to a different park.

we just rode it on monday and first thing in the morning it had no music. it was very weird to ride through it without aerosmith blasting. then later in the day it was down for technical difficulties. i wonder if it really is due for a rehab?
