BUT.....out of a title for our cruise....question....can some creative person come up with the logo for our cruise??? Then the can match the two up & viola! We got one heck of a thing going.

ok.....a theme of New Years Eve sounds cool to me . Soooooooooooooo, I figure how about if we open to floor for suggestions about a New Years Eve title for our cruise.....but is there perhaps a kind soul who can do a graphic of some sorts that pertains to this theme?????

Been a rather busy few days for me down here in Dallas but hey.... the "final" list on our name for our cruise is so far:

1)How about "Rockin' the Magic for New Year's" ?
2)"Rockin' the boat with Mickey Mouse on New years Magical eve 12-29-2010"

4) ?

Ok....my vote would be:

1) "Rockin' the Magic for New Years
-Dec 29th 2010 to Jan 7th 2011

Any other suggestions??? I figure if that's ok with everyone...lets give it about another week to 10 days before making "the final call" on this. And yes - if somone knows how to come up with a graphic to match our cruise name, please pm me.
and......for those of you interested - please feel free to pm me if ya wanna participate in the "Fish Extenders" gift exchange and or "Meet and Greet."
Both of these are a fun way to get to know your fellow DISser and enjoy the cruise at the same time. I'd say...in about a month, I will begin to compile a list of screen names (for the "Meet & Greet" / "Fish Extenders") with total number of adults and or children for all of us to see but that for more info (cabin# for example) I will be pm "ing" all of you on that as we get closer to the date of departure.

I wanted to aplogize for my rude entry into the boards. It was my first entry and I was not yet aware of the etiquette. I am the DW of Yensidfan99 and we our very excited for this trip and to have all of you to converse with about it. It will be a different experience going on knowing of others who will be there too.

"Rockin' The Magic for New Years" is a great name. We can't wait.

My DH and I have been on many Disney Cruises, so let us know if you need any tips or advice or if anyone has any for traveling with an almost 5 year old, as that will be a new experience for us.

............hey...don't worry about it - "stuff happens." Say....just throwing out another idea to all of us........there is bound to be a pro football or college fotball game on (during our trip) so be sure and pack your "colors" and show them with pride
Last month, I sat in on the Philadelphia side (in the bar on the Disney Wonder) of the pro football playoff tv game...and that took a lot...considering I am from Dallas!

We are taking our first non-Disney cruise this July, on Princess, to Alaska. My brother and his wife, and my husband and I (with our 3 kids), are taking our mom for her 60th birthday. I wonder how it will feel to try a totally new cruise line. I have promised myself to not make the inevitable comparisons...

I hope you have a blast. If you are taking off out of Seattle don't miss the Space Needle or Pike Place Market. You can walk up to Pike Place Market from the ship. The pier has some pretty cool shops as well.

DW did an Alaska cruise with her mother a few years ago and loved it. I think the warmest it got was mid 60's though and that was in August.

DW and I are so excited ! We decided that we would go ahead and go to WDW for our 10 year in October. Now just hoping for a little pixie dust next Wed. We are going to try and book at BLT using our WLV and AKV points. We would love a Magic Kingdom View but will take any 1 bedroom view we can get .

Now it's just planning the dinner at V&A's (which DW knows about) and getting her present which she doesn't and since she is also on this board I won't be saying anything. .

And I learned the other day that DD just cannot keep a secret so don't think I will be sharing with her either.

Thanks, Michael! Actually, we decided to really get up into Alaska, so we're doing a one-way southbound from Whittier to Vancouver. That means we're flying from Atlanta to Anchorage I'm trying to see if we can do a couple days at Denali before we cruise and hoping for at least a full day in Vancouver before we come back. We've never been in the Pac NW and cannot wait.

So, just a little bit of news from the Great NW. We have decided to extend our vacation a bit past the cruise.

DW and I are going to be staying at BLT for 4 or 5 nights in a 1 bedroom Magic Kindgom View (hopefully) and then 4 nights in 1 bedroom AKV Concierge.

We decided to do this because I have decided I am going to run the Walt Disney World Marathon. If the dates fall correctly it should be on January 9th, 2011.

This means I will be doing some training on the lovely Caribbean Islands during our cruise and lots and lots of laps around deck 4.

.......jogging buddy . It's very peaceful jogging there in the am. Wow! Running the marathon! I am impressed. What's your personal best?????
