Rock music is pretty awesome. Aerosmith owns, just to let you know.
I love Alt rock too. That stuff is pretty amazing.
And to back Cinderelli16 up, Linkin Park does scream a lot. But I still like 'em.

And yes I pretty much only listen to rock. My favorite bands are The Who(saw in concert), Rush(saw in concert), Fountains of Wayne, RHCP, DMB, Coheed and Cambria, AC/DC, and a lot more.

I will admit I do like some rap and Hip-Hop but only the really catchy ones like Low, and anything from Chris Brown and T-Pain.

I do like rock, I listen to it often...
I just don't like it was much as my quieter acoustic stuff. It's annoying when you've got Ituneson shuffle and you're listening to a quiet song and then BAM

lol i mainly listen to rock.. hard rock, pop rock, slow rock, you name it lol...

but i also listen to rap... not the mainstream stuff though (i hate the whole flo rida, soulja boy, 50 cent trends) ... i like the rappers that actually rap about reality, and not some fantasy about shooting up the world and pimpin out everything


but yeaaa... rock isnt screamo... does rock have screaming in it? sure! does that put it in a whole new category? not at all ... screamo is music that is 90% screaming.. the other 10% is probably growling haha (look up Arch Enemy lol).... rock is mostly melodic/singing with screaming here and there


annnnnd.... linkin park (hybrid theory and meteora days) was Nu Metal turned rock (minutes to midnight)
