rock & roll buffet

Can anyone tell me about the rock & Roll buffet on NYE in Epcot. It sounds great but I can't tell if I have to make ressies and if so when.

It is held in the pavilion between UK and Canada. Last year they advertized it as dinner and party. Kids had a live band and games setup and adults could do that or the other venue with music. Asked DS if he wanted to try it and he declined. We chose not to do it and just tour at Mgm in the morning Epcot at night with dinner at Teppanyaki. It is very crowded and they hand out noisemakers and hat around 6pm. It was fun except for the pouring rain. I did overhear others who attended say it was fun. It was just added money we diedn't want to spend. Epcot is fun enough!

Thanks, how did you hear about this? From the resorts or this board. I think this would be ideal for my family so if i need to make ressies, how soon should i call?

I read about it on Deb Wills site right before we left. (wdwig.com). There is a similar meal and party at Dolphin/Swan and it too was very expensive (two seatings for meal and then kids stuff or party). We liked what we did this time.
