We didn't get to explore Fantasyland as much as I would have liked. I didn't get to see the Tangled restrooms at all. Love all the little details I have seen in everyone's pictures. LOVE the skillet "sconces".

Your camera did really well in HM! While we did get to do a lot while we were there for just a few hours, seeing all these photos reminds me of how much we DIDN'T get to do.

Love the new Tangled bathroom area...it's just awesome.

What I saw of it definitely was! I really just want to spend an hour exploring the area but I'm not sure when I'll have the time to do that.

You did great with the pictures in the Haunted Mansion. It's rare you get a clear picture in there no matter the type of camera you have.

I was pretty happy with what I got.

I love that Jim was excited over getting the "red" card.

Okay, I didn't rapidly scroll through the Slow Boat to China pictures, but I didn't dawdle either. I'm with Jim...always glad to be off that ride.

Yep, it got a little crowded that afternoon. OK, I need one of those phone cases! That drunk Hippo is one of my favorite things in IASW, I end up photographing him pretty much every time.

Before I start this update, I wanted to post a few pictures of Jim’s finished Lego project. If you missed the first post, I got him this for his birthday back in January. It really only took him about a week to finish, I just kept forgetting to take pictures.



Remy decided he needed in on the action on that first picture.

And now onto the actual update.

I wanted to ride Winnie the Pooh after IASW so we headed that direction. I hadn’t ridden it since 2011 for various reasons and I knew I wouldn’t be getting on it in February. My family is not a fan of the ride. When we got there though, the wait time was 50 minutes. I knew that Jim would never tolerate waiting that long and I sure didn’t want to either. So I decided the time to cheat was at hand. We turned around and headed towards Mickey’s Philharmagic to pull paper fast passes. I felt so guilty with the double dipping that I took off my Magic Band and put it in my pocket before I got in line. Yeah, I’m weird. We saw people double dipping all week.

So here they are, the last set of paper FPs I ever pulled. This was the only time during the week that we double dipped.



We had about 2 hours till those were due so it was time to head to Storybook Circus and one of my old favorites.



As we approached, Jim took one look and said no way, I’m not riding that. I laughed and asked why not. He said because it went in circles. I just said let’s go, you’ll be fine.

I think the wait time was 20 minutes so we got our pager and found a seat along the wall. Jim complained the whole time that he was going to “die” but I just ignored him.

Our pager went off and we headed out to the right side.





We got out of the building just as they loaded a group onto the ride. But then nothing happened, the ride would not start up. They unloaded everyone back off the ride and put them back in the line. The CMs spent a few minutes messing with the ride and then one of them got on the phone. That’s about the time that a lot of families started abandoning the line. Jim asked if we were leaving and I said no way. I knew we would either be given FPs for later or more likely just moved to the other side. And I was right, after about five minutes they had us all turn around and go to the other side. We were one of the last people in that line so we ended up first going out to the other side.





It was only a few minutes before we were boarding our elephant.





So did Jim survive the ride? Barely. He said it was his least favorite ride of the whole trip and he disliked it even more than RnRC. Who know that the scariest ride of all was Dumbo?

It was almost time for our Ariel meet and greet FP+ but there was one more thing I needed to do before we headed that way. I think many of you will remember me talking about my Great Aunt who was the first person to take me to WDW when I was 2 ½. For those who are new to my TRs, she is now in her 80s and still likes to tell the story about how I dragged her from Dumbo to IASW, to the Tea Cups, to Dumbo, to IASW, to the Tea Cups, etc. We really wanted to take her on the upcoming family trip but she said no. Her health is not the best and she felt the trip would just be too much for her.

I really wanted to get a photo in the extra Dumbo car to give her for Christmas. We headed there, it’s now in between the two Dumbo spinners. To my surprise and delight, there was a PP photographer there! I ended up giving this first picture to her for Christmas and she loved it. I also framed the picture and have it on my dresser at home. I reminds me every day of how much I love going to the parks even as an adult.







Finished with that photo shoot, it was time to move on to the Ariel meet.





With the FP+ we waited less than five minutes before our turn to meet Ariel. She immediately asked Jim if he was a good sailor and if he had taken me on any boat rides yet. Jim said no but I had made him ride the very scary Dumbo ride. He told her all about that horrifying experience. I then reminded him that he had taken me on not one but four boat rides that day, Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Splash and IASW. I assured Ariel that he was indeed a good sailor. Then we posed for a few pictures.





Jim behaved that time and didn’t grope Ariel at all. He really enjoyed the meet since Ariel is his favorite princess.

I was really touched reading about the relationship with your Aunt, so reminds me of mine with Aunt Mary What a beautiful gift you gave her, they give us so much and it doesn't take much at all to make them happy does it ?

Weather here just keeps getting worse. we have another 6 inches dumped on us. and it is still snowing.

I might just jump into the car and drive to FL today. i don't care as long as there is sun and warmth.

Hi! You know it's funny. I love doing jigsaw puzzles, the bigger the better. I'm currently working on a 2000 piece Coke one. But Legos have always driven me nuts. Maybe it's the whole 3D thing?

I know, who knew Dumbo was so scary? I think I was most worried about a CM saying something to me when I got the FP. I had read that some of them were being kind of nasty about it.

It does look like Remy was posing in the ship! He was actually standing on the back of the couch so he could look out the window and bark at the neighbors dogs.

The Ariel meet and greet had taken no time so we still had a while till the WTP FP and I didn’t want to leave Fantasyland yet. Jim had really enjoyed the meet with Ariel plus the heat had finally arrived for the afternoon. I asked Jim if he would like to meet Donald and he was very game since he loves Donald. I figured it would be a good way to pass some time and get out of the sun.

We headed back into Storybook Circus. There was a clown band playing as we passed through.



We didn’t stop to watch because I found the whole thing creepy. I’m not a fan of clowns. We did stop so I could get a picture with my favorite guy. I wish I hadn’t covered my Pluto bag with my hand.



This was the first time I had done this new meet. You choose either Donald and Goofy or Minnie and Daisy. Of course we headed to the side with Donald, the wait time said 25 minutes which was pretty accurate.

This next picture went way overboard in Jim’s mind. He officially declared me nuts for taking a picture of the exit sign. I just thought it was cute and fit well with the circus theme.



I tried to get pictures of the Characters areas while we were waiting. It was pretty hard though because the areas were crowded.











It wasn’t too long before it was time to meet Goofy. He’s dressed as the Great Goofini to go with the circus theme.









This next one cracks me up. I have no idea what Goofy is trying to do or what I was doing as a matter of fact. What the heck is up with the head tilt, was I trying to imitate my dog Alex? He tilts his head like that when I talk to him.



Donald was next and Jim wanted to go up by himself so he could meet with his favorite guy. So he went first and then I joined him after a bit.

As you can see, Jim thinks Donald is #1.







And then I joined in the fun.





We looked around the dump shop a bit, I was looking for a Dumbo shirt I saw in March but didn’t get. Sadly they no longer had it. We still had time before the WTP FP so when Jim asked if we could go back and meet Minnie and Daisy I said no problem. The line was a bit longer this time, closer to 30 minutes.







I never did get a picture of Daisy’s area but it was very cute too. Daisy’s meet was first.









Next it was time for Minnie. As we approached the area the PP photographer looked at us and listed out a bunch of the rides we had been on that day including Dumbo, IASW and also the greet with Ariel. I was a little concerned that we had a stalker but then I realized he was the same photographer we had at the Ariel greet! He was just listing back the conversation we had with Ariel. It was pretty funny that he remembered us so well.







The new meet and greet area is very cute. There was nothing special to report with the greets, they were mostly just hugs, photos and move on but it was a great way to get out of the hot afternoon sun for a while.

I know he isn't but a picture is worth a thousand words...

The areas are cute.. I really like the snakes and donald. I would have taken the same picture!!!

But.. I just don't get it... I know they are in the circus part of MK.. I jsut don't understand why they have these four in that area! why not dumbo himself? or other circus type characters?!?

Umm Yeah.. I would have RUN.. very fast away from the clown band.. didn't even look friendly... YUCK!!!!

Yep, this was on Wednesday and we didn't go to MNSSHP till Thursday. I've got two more updates for this day and then who knows how many for Thursday! I'm going to get to our MNSSHP someday.
