Rock 'n' Roller Coaster or Tower of Terror?

Which of these do you like better than the other PERSONALLY?

They're so different that it's kind of like comparing apples & oranges.

I love RnR because I love Rollercoasters and Aerosmith. What could be better than a rollercoaster that combines the two?

I love ToT because of the incredible theming and I love the drops.

They're both great! Sorry, I just can't choose!

OK, personally I haven't been on ToT since it opened and even then I only went on for the T-Shirt my dad promised me ifI went on it (it was really cool - had the lightning bolts than glow in the dark) but I love RnR and I'm not even a big roller coaster fan but it's so exhilerating - woohoo, 0 to 60 is however many seconds and I love going upside down on anything real - I'm not a big 'drop' person but you can take me in circles for hours and even though the atmosphere of ToT is really neat, I like the blaring rock music of RnR

Without a doubt Tower of Terror........

NOTHING wrong with Rock 'N Roller Coaster, but Tower of Terror has more impact and causes more tension (anticipation??) in me, AND the theming is AWSOME!

JMHO, but TOT gets my personal vote anyday all day.

TOT hands down. I've been on better coasters than RnRC and I don't like Aerosmith so the piped in music is annoying. I've never been on anything that compares to ToT when it comes to theming, so that's got to be the winner

I absolutely love both!

The theming on TOT is fantastic, and the drops are so, so fun.

Then again, I love Aerosmith, and I think RnRC is the perfect coaster - fast and fun enough to make my tummy flip, but not so jarring that it gives me a headache or jerks my neck and shoulders.

OK, I can't choose one over the other...sorry!

I will go on RnR numerous times on every trip. I will NOT be going on ToT!

ToT! definitely. Don't get me wrong, RnR is a great ride, easily number 2 in the Studios, but ToT is head and shoulders better. The theming, element of surprise (especially with the random drops in the current version) and build up make this an easy winner.

DH votes for TOT for its theming, and I have to agree it's wonderful.

DD would vote for TOT also. She just loves that ride!

RnR definitely! ToT is OK, but I can pass it up. I don't how I'm going to handle having to miss RnR on my trip next week. Just me and DS - he is too scared, and no one to child swap with! (And this will most likely be my last trip for several years.)

Tower of Terror. With the new ride system you can ride three or four times in a row and not have the same experiance. It is great.

ToT is hands down my favorite ride at any theme park, anywhere. I also like RnR, but I'm happy doing it once or twice every visit. ToT I repeat as often as possible--11 times this last visit with my DH (did RnR 7 times since my DH likes it a lot), 5 times with my 4yo and 13 times one trip with my sister (her favorite ride, also).

Lisa, how old is your son? If he's old enough to hang out for a few minutes he could go through the queue with you and then take the chicken exit and stand by the ride photos after the exit, but before going into the gift shop.

One time I talked my 7yo into going through the queue and he then used the chicken exit (our plan if he didn't want to ride). My DH was waiting by the ride photos for him (we were baby swapping our then toddler). I wouldn't let a child that age wait alone, but I'll be back with him in Jan. He's 11yo now and could easily wait a few minutes for me, but has agreed to ride at least once.

The Tower wins!!!!!

My first visit as a child to Disneyland I got completely engrossed in Pirates of the Caribbean. That has never changed after repeated visits to Disneyland and WDW. It's been my favorite ever since.

Tower of Terror is the first attraction that gives me that same feeling of wanting to live in the attraction - fires the imagination up. Plus, it has the AWESOME drops!!!!!

I don't know which is my favorite now - I think PoC and ToT tie in my book. I hope they never get rid of either.

Rock n Roller Coaster is great but can't hold a candle - imho.
