Rock 'n' Roller Coaster help needed

Hi

I just wondered if anyone knows if the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster goes upside down at all, just incase I need to brace myself when we go to MGM lol

Yes it does!!! The takeoff is just the start. You go from 0 to 60 in eight seconds and the loop comes right after that so HOLD ON TIGHT!!
The ride is a blast!!!

It definetly does. However, it's really smooth and quick. I would love this ride (and I'm not a coaster lover by any means), with the exception I'm really intimidated by the take-off. Did it once, don't know if I'll do it again.

actually i think you go 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds or somewhere around that . I love RNR

I love the Rock N Rollercoaster! the back of the t-shirt says it has three inversions. actually, one of them is a corkscrew thing. launch speed is 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, total ride time: 105 seconds, acceleration G force: 1.4, vertical G force generated: 5.0, length of track: 3000 feet. the take off will take your breath so, brace yourself!

The inversions are so smooth, you may not even be sure they happen. The first time I rode, I remember thinking "did we just go upside-down?"

I do not like roller coasters but I love this ride. The only thing that scares the heck out of me on this ride is the take off. Other than that the ride is awesome.

i did the same thing and think maybe cause it is dark also it seems differnt from most rcs that go upside down.it's very fun but keep you head back at take off

it's sooo fun and different! the first time i rode it, know one told me it went upside-down, haha. so after i got out, i heard that it did. and i said really?? i didn't even notice

As you've already read, it sure does go upside down. But.....the best part is not that, the best part, in my little opinion is the first 2-3 seconds of the ride. If you don't already know, then it's during those first 2-3 seconds that you might need to brace yourself. It's awesome!

My favorite part is the countdown to launch when the limo moves backward slightly - just the anticipation of the ride and the music and atmosphere is awesome! My dd10 loves this ride!

It does go upside down. But it's only for like half a second!! Don't let that scare you off... YOu'll have a blast!!

I typically don't do Coasters, but I LOVE this one! It's my absolute favorite ride. The scariest part is the take-off. Once you've done it several times, that doesn't even seem as scary. I ride this over and over when we go. I refused to ride it for years, but finally some friends dragged me on and promised to take care of me. I actually went in one time before that and when I saw it take off, I left the building. Now I regret that I was so afraid of it. It's such an awesome ride -- the scenery, the music, everything! And it's very smooth. But be sure to BRACE yourself really good!

RnR is the best ride at WDW. Great start and the music is a great touch. It is a tricked out Space Mountain. It is a smooth ride - most people are running to get back on again!!!

I was scared almost to the point of tears getting on.
The takeoff scared the bejesus out of me, and I was thinking "I HATE this, why do people do this?" right until halfway through the first loop.
As we were coming down the other half of the loop, it's like a little lightbulb went off above my head! DING! Ohhhh. THIS is why people do this! It's wicked fun!
