Roberto's Tacos?

Can someone clear this up for me? I've read that we should eat rolled tacos at Roberto's while in San Diego, but I can't figure out if that's Roberto's Taco Shop or Roberto's Very Mexican Food. Are they owned by the same people? Same food? Are they both fast food? Thanks for any advice!

Roberto's is a local chain...but there's also lots of imitators like Royberto's, Alberto's, Adelberto's, etc. Roberto's Taco Shops are the ones that most of us think of when someone talks about "Roberto's" - I don't know anything about the "Very Mexican Food" version. Still, all of those places are pretty much the same! Yes, all of the Roberto's are all fast food places. I think most of them have indoor seating these days, though they didn't when they first started.
