Has anyone else seen or is going to see Robbie Williams on his recent tour. We were at the Leeds gig last night that was broadcast live on Sky 1 and to 24 other countries!!!! The show was amazing and we were at the front near the stage!! Robbie was great, excellent songs and he was a show man as he always is!! We saw Orson and Basement Jaxx as well who were the support acts, they were good too.
So anyone else go or going?

Just watching it on sky :) Fab that you were at the front, If you were at the back you wouldn't have been able to see a thing the venue was so big!!!

Watched it last night. Looked great although as Kaylee says would not have liked being at the back :teeth:

We are off to Milton Keynes on Friday can't wait, we also saw the tour in Paris in June, I was so excited watching it on telly last night, glad you had a good time.

Yeah, Leeds is my home town and I have walked through that park many times as a child! We got there at 8:20am and were about 30 people from the front of the queue!! The gates opened at 1:30pm and Robbie came on at 8:30pm. It was a long wait but so worth it!! According to Leeds city council there were 90,000 people there!! Not as big as Knebsworth though there were 125,000 at that one. We were right at the front for that too in the Golden Circle!! (the 1st 8,000 people in were allowed into the special bit at the front of the stadium!)
The show was amazing but I prefer the MK Bowl as a concert venue (we saw him there too about 5 years ago, again near the front!!)

Saratogagirl, you will love the show. One piece of advice: Get there early!!

I am going on Sat to MK (still waiting for my tickets to turn up!!!) am planning on getting there around 8/8.30am for a chance to be near (ish) the front...

saw him at Knebworth and Live 8 - was really close at Knebworth which was fab...but too far away at Live 8 !!!

can't wait..

I so agree about Knebworth it was mental, great atmosphere though - thanks for the advice about the bowl, it is years since we saw Simple Minds there - what time do you advise we be there ??
Nat we are still waiting for out tickets too - a bit worrying, there are six of us going, we got ours from the inner sanctum and I got the other four from Last Minute the Last Minute tickets are here but the Inner Sanstum are not !! I am so looking forward to it, I liked the Bowl very much last time, got to be honest the best place I ever saw him was the Docklands that was a great venue ...

We didn't get our inner sanctum tickets until last Wednseday for this Saturdays show so don't panic about that. I woulld recommend getting there for around 8:30am, we were there for 8:15 (we left my parents house at 8am as they live close by!) I like the bowl as a concert venue (we live about 45 mins from there which is great), much better than Leeds. I'm glad I went to Leeds to see him though as it is my home town!! Saying that I would book the Bowl in the future.

Nattyk what night were you at Knebsworth? We were there on the Sunday and saw Mark Own too which was a bonus.

We went to see him 2 weeks ago at Hampden Stadium in Glasgow. He was excellent as were Basement Jaxx :thumbsup2

We are going to see him Sat at Milton Keynes! We have Gold Circle tickets so will definately be in the front area - depends how early we get there as to how close to the front we will be though!

Danauk - we saw Robbie at Knebworth on the Sat so missed Mark Owen..

Laurafoster - how did you get gold tickets, i would have loved them, but have GA instead so stuck at the back with 89000 other people!!!!

Just had an email from the innersantury and my tickets are finally on there way...

see you there..

I am a bit confused as to what is going on with the tickets. When I purchased them (for Wembley) from Inner Sanctum I paid 60.00 which was supposedly for preferred entrance. Two weeks later I got tickets for our 4 mates who are coming with us from LastMinute.com, only tickets that were left were seating (not very good seats), which cost 45.00 each .... Our friends tickets have arrived from Last Minute.com (general admission), when I got an e-mail from the Inner Sanctum it said that ours are general admissions also, which means I have paid 30 quid more than they have to be in the same place as them !!

I'm going on Friday this week and Tuesday next week.
CANNOT WAIT!!! :cool1:

I have loved  Robbie since Dec 1991 so that's a LOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGG time.

Have seen him so many times I can't even start to list them.
Kissed him once too! :worship:

Fri we can't get to the Bowl until after 5pm as my friend is working (altho, DH, and my other mate all have half days so we are going out for a boozy lunch first!) :drinking1

Tues, we should be up there about lunch time ish so should get a better view.

Can't wait - it looked so good on TV over the weekend!

We had originally booked 4 General Admission tickets when it was scheduled for Wembley, then when it was moved to the bowl we got a notification that they were going to be some more coming on sale and my mates asked me to get them some - with the date and time, and we were fortunate to get the Gold Circle ones - needless to say i gave the other ones to my mates and kept the gold ones for myself :teeth:
