Mike texted me today that he signed us up for the AP thing for HHN to get into the 3 houses early. Very excited. Just over 2 weeks left!

It should be Halloween 2, TCM, and Chance, unless that's changed but it makes sense considering where the AP holding area is.

Surprise option #3: While checking rates at the Universal hotels again today, I saw a standard room at CBay available. Since I now had a reason to switch over there that would save me money I grabbed it and called to cancel the SF reservation. I was going to just have them switch the hotel, but the TM on the phone didn't see the standard room, and he would have had to cancel SF to rebook anyway. I also added a request to have me and Vicki's rooms close to each other. Yay! I can't wait!!

Why would he have to cancel the SF room?

I've held simultaneous. Reservations there in the past when I didn't know exactly how many days I would be able to get away i.e. 3 or 4 day res over same span of time. You do have deposit both reservations and naturally, cancel eventually.

Well final packing done. Now just sitting here giving Draco love before I leave for work. Almost there!

So with the whole being let go as I was leaving for my trip, and being sick this whole week back, I figured I'd just throw up most of my photos. I'll explain stories as needed. I didn't get as many as I hoped, though that was mainly due to the change to the UTH tour and not being allowed to take pics in the IP houses. I'm going to do a separate post over on the Disney side for my two days there. For the first time, I actually had more fun at Disney than I did at Universal, and that's saying something.

I really liked the new Kong ride. Though I didn't get a shirt. Maybe next time, if there is one. The queue was really well done. The ride was a lot more immersive than I thought it was going to be. And the Kong AA is spectacular. The only downside is that we got stuck in the very first row of the truck which was not that great for seeing the "show".
