Flagstaff often has snow in December, so you might want to have a Plan B, just in case.

Do they not plow I-40? My husband has a lot of experience driving thru snow. That is really our only route out there. I-70 isn't really an option.

We are going to pull off the highway and take pics of that place! We are staying at another old route 66 motel in New Mexico tho.
