That's exactly the first words out of my dd's mouth when I mentioned our AP's were expiring this month & that if we want to apply our 1 day tickets from last years free dining to the renewal we have to do that at the parks. 
So we plan to arrive super early on Sunday morning 5/30, renew AP's and hit the park. (probably MK). Booked POP for 1 night, driving back home on Memorial Day & back to work on Tuesday.
