Road trip advice needed ...

We are returning home to BCV from August 1st - 8th. On the 8th we plan on driving from Orlando to Hilton Head. We have booked a studio on HHI from 8th - 13th.

Has anyone ever made this drive before. Any recommendations as to time and traffic issues? Driving with DW, DS (10) and DD (6).

Any and all suggestions would be extremely helpful!!

Its like 5 to 5.5 hours from Orlando to HHI...........It looks like August 8th is a Sunday........so I would suspect that you'd have minimal traffic difficulties travelling the most direct route (I4 to I95 to HHI)....................

We're going to make the same trip on our next round to WDW.....a week in WDW and then another few days in HHI on the way home.........to NJ.........

Hi. We live in SC and just got back from WDW. The best investment we ever made was a portable dvd player for the car trip! When ouhr dd's get tired of the car, we pop in a disney movie and that gives us an extra hour or so befor we must pull over to let them play and run.
