road map?

I have never rented a car before. My sisters want to this time because we all made reservations for each night to eat dinner. So we will be driving. Do they have road maps? We are staying at the BCV going to the Poly 1 night, contemporary, the next. Need to navigate any good ideas? THANK YOU!

You should be able to get a simple map from the company that you rent your car from. Also, if you are a AAA member, just stop by your local office and ask for a FL map.

To get around property, if you are staying on-site you can get a map from guest services at your resort. However, I have found that the best way to get around WDW property is:
1) Know which park, the resort that I want to go to is near
2) Follow the road signs on property.

For example, if you want to go to a MK area resort, then when you leave your resort, follow the road signs to the MK. Once you get closer to the MK, you will see signs for the resorts near the park.

I have found that the WDW road system is well signed.

As previously mentioned, your rental car agency should be able to provide a basic road map for Orlando. We found it best to map quest routes from the airport to our destination. Once you make it on property the signage is the best to use since many of the roads really don't have names or route numbers.

What about using a GPS? We never leave town without one these days! Just a thought...

Everytime my family and I have rented a car from Avis at Orlando International Airport they always included a map of Orlando, however since the WDW signs are well marked chances are you won't need it when driving around there.
