Road Construction?

We will be leaving in the morning. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there was any significant road construction on I77 in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and I 26 in South Carolina, and I 95 through South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida as well as I 4 in Florida.

My husband will do better if he knows about any potential delays ahead of time. I told him to be prepared for construction everywhere with delays. But he has this thing about sticking to his schedule even though its not the same schedule the rest of the family is on.

There is no significant area of work in NC from Statesville (mile marker 51) down to the NC/SC line (mile marker 0). I also have heard of nothing major going on heading into SC either, but can't confirm that firsthand.

Georgia has had the huge work zone on I-95 from @ mile marker 60 to mile marker 28 for years now. Construction barriers, limited shoulders, and decreased speeds.

Those are the only areas I can help with.

Thanks Robert. I don't think they will ever be done with the work in GA. At least it is more than one lane open during the work.

The good news is that the construction in Georgia is almost completed. I was through there about a month ago and the only portion remaining to be finished is a 16 mile stretch - I think it was from MP 44 to MP 60 or something like that. Otherwise, the road is now very nice. Also all of the work of I-95 in Florida seems to be finished.

I drove through construction on I95 in GA on 7/3, about 5pm (going south) and 7/16, about 1pm (going north).
Two lanes were open both ways and traffic was not impacted
