Rode up front twice this past trip. Nothing like the wind blowing your hair back and being able to see the track in front of you.

"Once you have driven the Limo, there's no more riding in the back!"

Did you just happen to end up in the front car or did you request it and wait? I'm thinking this is something DS would enjoy. Thanks!

We requested the very front and the very back on several occasions...a little longer wait, but once you've gotten that far...it's well worth it!

My 9-year-old loves this ride the best of anything in WDW... and he liked the front the best...

Have fun!

I've found if you ask for the front, the CM's don't mind putting you up there. I took my bf on space mt. for the first time- I told the CM who was placing people in rows that he had never been on it before and wanted to sit in the front- they directed us right to it. I've never sat in the front of RnRC before though- i bet the take off is scary!!-Steph

My DH agrees with ya'll, he likes the front but me, I like the back of most rides. Unless I am on a roller coaster where I can see us creeping towards the top and then hanging there waiting for the back to catch up, then I like the front. Otherwise, I just like the intensity of the ride when you are in the back car.

There is no beating riding in front. Totally different experience.

I've gotten the front seat several times without having to ask :D but IMO, the back seat is better. it takes your stomach a lot more back there :p

Totally off Topic, but WAR EAGLE!!!!!!!!!!

The first time I rode RnRC DH and I got the front seat (by pure luck.) We were talking to the family behind us and said it was our first time. They tried to persuade us that if it was our first time we would not like the front seat and they wanted to trade with us! I explained that although it was our first ride on RnRC that I was a rollercoaster fanatic and that I could handle it. I was glad I got the front seat as it made the first ride better and more memorable.
I rode the back seat on RnRC at DLP, also an excellent ride (although my friend I was riding with didn't think so!)

::yes::

Our picture from the front car was PRICELESS! My hair was straight back, mouth wide open screaming - same for DS (and it was his first coaster ever!). DH wore his sunglasses (to keep from losing his contacts) and is sitting quietly looking cool :smooth:

Definitely our Christmas card picture this year!

Did you notice that EVERY picture looks like you were sitting in the front (no matter where you actually were in the train)? Look closely: it's superimposed!!!

:wave2:

Totally off topic, but the kitty in the sink looks EXACTLY like my cat Shamu!! :cat:

Yeah, the picture is super-imposed, but your horizontal hair isn't....
