I love RNRC. The only part I don't like is the launch, but since that's over so fast and I've learned to relax into it instead of tensing up, it's not bad. I've heard some people say the M:S takeoff is as bad as RNRC, others say it's nowhere near as bad, others say it's worse. Everyone agrees it's longer. That takeoff is the only part of M:S that concerns me.
So, three questions:
1) How do you think the M:S takeoff compares to the RNRC launch?
2) In RNRC, you go from 0 to full speed in what, 2 seconds? How long does it take you to reach that same intensity in M:S? Is it near-instantaneous like it is in RNRC, or does it build up until you've reached the same level of intensity.
3) How long is the takeoff? I know you're taking off longer than you do in RNRC, but is it just twice as long? A full 10 or 20 seconds? Does it just *feel* like 20 seconds?
(Anyone know how many G's you pull on the launch on RNRC?)
