What are your experiences w/ the single rider line for RnR?
I've heard mixed feedback. I'll be there in August & I'm wondering how helpful it will be for my DHS touring.
TIA!!:donald:

I went three times on my most recent visit. The last two times, it took 10-15 minutes as opposed to the 45+ minute standby line.

The first time was not so great. I went on my arrival day, around 4:30. The standby line was 45 minutes. I jumped in the single rider line. It was so slow! It took over an hour that time. Behind me there was a CM from another park there on his day off and he commented it'd never been that long before. There was a tour group of about 30 teens in orange t-shirts who were in the line ahead of me. (A bunch of their group had gone in the regular standby line...they got through the line first!) I don't know if that group was the problem...but...

Some people behind me actually asked to speak to a supervisor...they were told that this was the chance you take in the single rider line.

I tell my tale only as a caution...weird things like that can happen. I did go back and have "normal" experiences. I like the option when going solo.

My brother and I rode in the single rider line 4 times in a row in December. The first three times we waited maybe 5 minutes. The last time it was a much longer wait, and I think we stayed about even with the people in the regular line.

Thanks for the feedback!

Sounds like its consistently inconsistent - I'll probably give it a whirl, but not rely on it.

Hey aggielawyer, you will appreciate this - I'm studying for the TX Bar right now & this trek to Orlando is part of my big post-bar trip!!!! (If I haven't keeled over from exhaustion by then)

Good luck with the bar. I took it 10 years ago (can't believe it's been that long!) and would never want to go through that again. Believe it or not, I won my first trip to WDW from KSCS while I was packing to go take the bar. So, I was a winner even if I hadn't passed. :)

Well, I went through that line in mid May one morning after rope drop. I think it was 6-7 times in the first hour before I took a break. I went back to DHS this past Thursday, and at 9:30am, the standby line was over an hour, the single rider line was out the door and halfway down the ramp (I'd guess 30+ minutes at least), and even the line to get fastpasses looked to be at least 15 minutes.

Usually, I have had good experiences with the single rider lines, until last time that is....our delay was 40 minutes in the single rider.....someone threw up and they had to shut the ride down to do clean up. Although, we only found out about that because we were standing at the front of the line - no announcments made.

I find it similar to Test Track singler rider line. Could be 5 min. Could be 30. I generally get well ahead of the regular standby line and sometimes I've beaten the FP line! :)
