Looks like you are doing good sticking to your plan. Be sure to drink lots of water (at least 64 oz per day) and incorporate some fresh fruits and veggies into your diet! There are lots of single-serve canned fruits that would be easy to grab and go while you are on the run.

Don't give up! One cheeseburger will not ruin you. Remember, this is a change of lifestyle, not a diet! You cannot undo years of bad eating habits overnight. Make one change at a time and once that has become a habit, change something else. Before you know it you will be craving healthy foods and not even think about the bad ones...

I went out today for dim sum, well more like i went out cause my parents were going out shopping and i wanted to buy some low cal foods, cept they ended up going out for dim sum. At first i said i wouldn't have anything, but in the end they started ordering things specifically for me. So i had a little bit.

I took a nap shortly after breakfast so lunch is non-existant. This morning's damage wasn't too bad in the whole. I did have to do a lot of guessing though on the calorie counts. As i have to with a lot of asian food. The custard bun was a little iffy, it was small and i can't find a calorie count for the steamed bun, so i put in the caloric value of 1 small slice of bread. With the total of everything, i think i may have a lotus paste bun. It's my favorite :love: There is so much food around my house now, but the calorie counts are higher than my entire dinner :guilty: But i think i may work in a couple things over the next couple days.

Saturday and Sunday are going to be a real test for me, as it's my b/f and me's 2 year and 4 month. We'll be going out to eat, as well as celebrating his best friends birthday the next day. So two dinners out + cake. :earseek:

Today was okay overall, i could of done without the midnight snacking, i was doing homework and got the munchies. I did decent, i'm really disliking michellina's advantage meals. Yes they have veggies and a protein, but taste wise they are kinda bland. The veggies have a strong smell to them as well. I prefer lean cuisine, even though they are higher in calories, they are more filling and taste much better.
 
This week so far has been great. I've been under my 1200 calorie quota every single day. I'm proud of myself, i've definatly gotten better at holding out till planned meals etc. I'd have to say though that yesterday, i did not plan out my meal until later on in the day and it was more than i would of consumed if i had. I think i'll start writing out my menu's the night before.

Went to school, and the scallop pastry actually held very very well. I'm debating whether or not that's the correct calorie count, but for now it'll have to do. Bought a whole bunch of lean cuisine (5boxes) ranging from 170-290calories. This time they are a little higher cal, but they look a lot more appetizing. Going out with the b/f now, he's a sweetheart, but i don't like to get people involved with my dieting. Ooh i bought cracker jack rice cakes, omg they taste like candy! On the other hand i did buy 2 packets of pizza chips :guilty: but if i eat it in moderation i should be okay

I ate lunch around 2:30-3pm, lean cuisine is really quite filling, even though the portions are small. I'm eating them slowly and really taking the time to let the food hit my stomach. That seems to be doing the trick. I'm getting used to my daily plan now, eating in the morning, around 2:30-3pm, and again around 8-8:45pm. I've still got the munchies though, but that's allright. I'm probably cutting it close to 1000cals tonight, if i do well on friday as well, i may treat myself to 125 mls of strawberry ice cream. i decided i needed some calcium in my diet, so the soybean drink it was, however i actually had quite a time getting it down, i was too full. :confused3

Tonight after work i'm going to get in at least 20 minutes of hula hoops. :Pinkbounc

During break today, i decided to eat some onion rings cause i had a huge craving for them, 1 became 2, became 3 you get the story, i consumed at least 15 onion rings in zesty sauce. After that i had at least 1.5 cups of popcorn as well. Am i upset, a little, i can actually feel myself get heavier if that makes any sense. I think for tomorrow's menu, i'm going to put in a serving of chips to overcome these munchies i'm getting.

The calorie count was thankfully not as high as i thought it might of been. I can't wait for my 2 days off from work, i can finally get away from all that oily greasy fast food.

Today, there's no school, just work. It is however going to be the last day before my house gets crazy full. My aunt is coming over from singapore for a month, add on top of that, that my grandparents are already here, my house has 7 people. My other aunt on my mom's side is coming as well but only for 2 days. 5 beds + 7 people doesn't work out too well. I really don't like to tell people about my weight and my dieting plans at all. Hopefully i'll still have time to get online and log things.

The site was down, so i was unable to update as i went along.
I woke up fairly early, and snacked all through till lunch, and then after work. I guess i was a little upset, at work one of the co-workers got badly burned. No one really knows how badly yet, but at new york fries yesterday there was apparently water in the oil, so it made a huge bubble and exploded all over him, down his back and his arms. Everyone was upset yesterday, as well as kinda mad. Cause first of all no measures were really taken to help him. The managers that responded apparently didn't react much, no one knew about it. Needless to say, at the end of the day a group talking too was instore. I keep having visions of him being badly scarred. Though my supervisor who previously worked in new york fries, was saying that those burns do go away, but still it'll take at least a couple months to a year. *sighs*

You don't have to let everyone know your dieting plans. Just make smart food choices if you go out to eat. I love the Quaker mini rice cakes (kettle corn and caramel corn are my favorites!) Be sure to drink lots of water and squeeze in any exercise you can!

Keep up the great work! I think it is smart to plan for some salty and sweet snacks. Try to do a small portion of something you really want.

Thank you everyone for all your support. I don't think i would of made it this far without you guys. Journalling is really helping me. oO i can't cheat as much :rotfl: cause if i pick up a cookie i'll think "i don't wanna log this" and then i'll go "but i have too" and then i'll sigh and either put down the cookie or take one bite.

Yesterday was a quite an emotional day for everyone at work. I really hope he'll be okay. :guilty:

Today, my aunt is arriving from singapore, loaded with goodies, vcds/dvds etc. It's going to be awesome but i can definatly plan for a large dinner tonight with all the fixings. Probably going to go out and eat. Mm chinese food, i'll have to say that i love it, but it's so oily and greasy sometimes it scares me to think of the calorie count.

As well, it's Ken(b/f) and me's 2 year and 4th month anniversary today. He loves me ;-; enough to let me paint his toenails a shiny baby pink yesterday :rotfl: Apparently i don't love him, because i did so. :confused3 We're most likely going to head out for a dinner/lunch :earseek: on the weekend. And on top of that, his best friends bday dinner.

*runs away screaming* So much food!!!! so little calories!!!!

Keke my plan! is finding out where we're going, and checking up on the nutritional values before we go, and then giving myself a couple low calorie options, so i can go there and not mentally try to figure out the calorie content as i'm driving away, and then going "NOOOOOOoooooo" when i find out the exact number.

I've decided not to be so strict on myself on the weekends, mostly because i have a semi hectic schedule and have decided that if i continue to stress out about work/school/dieting, i will eventually burn out. Not to say that i'm throwing my diet out the window. I'm still going to attempt to keep under 1500calories, preferably 1200cals. I took a quiz and i need to eat at least 1809cals to maintain my weight, so at 1500cals, i'm still burning 309cals.

Called work, to say that i might not be showing tonight. But i can sense that they want me there. Supervisor meeting about hiring etc.

Wow this honey dijon chicken is actually really good. xD The green beans have some sort of nut in them and red peppers, taste actually quite good. For someone who doesn'tlike veggies all that much.

It is now Sunday night at 10:45 and all i can say is WHOA

I've eaten like crazy and everything has been delicious. I've eaten a bite of everything i've craved, i went for all you can eat sushi, but I only stuck to non fried foods, (udon) and oshinko rolls, no sushi with tons of mayo for me. I got full faster and i ate less. I'm very proud of myself. I'm eating ice cream now but i've split this 1 cup serving over the past 2 days. I've exercised quite a bit of control and boy am i proud.
 
Weekends are rough, believe me, I know! I think that after a while of eating healthy, you finally start to get to the point where you don't want to ruin all the hard work you did during the week. I've been trying to lose weight since the end of June, and I think I am FINALLY at that point. You'll get there too, but in the meantime, just eat what you want, but keep the portions in check.

A start of a brand new week. This week i would really like to focus on keep under 1200 calories/day as well as drinking at least 125ml of milk/soy bean milk and at least 1200mls of water. Exercise wise i want to do at least 15 minutes of hula hoops, and walk 1km on the threadmill. :cool1:

Things i have to do today
1) talk to fido about either a new phone or a new headset. My phone is broken beyond repair and this is just ridiculous to try and use. i believe they are selling refurbished ones for 75 dollars with 50 dollars airtime. This would bankrupt me till next weeks paycheck. But it would save me the frusteration of wanting to throw my cellphone to oblivion.
2) talk to manager at work about being paid wrong. I was supposed to be paid 12 bucks an hour for those 3 hours. I got paid 8. That and my 5.5 hours overtime.
3) buy some more hot rods/jerky, lean cuisine meals etc

This morning my hair dryer went kaput on me. I think it's just overheated. At least my hair is fairly dry though.

Uh oh's, I went out and ate out again!! but that's a-okay because i walked off at least 100calories today. :banana: And tonight i work, and i plan to work hard! I went to a chinese restaurant again, mm grease. Anyways i had 1/3rd of a bowl of noodles with ground pork and cucumbers, some bbq pork and some roast pork. And a couple chopstick fulls of little deep fried silverfish. Then we went a walking and bought my NEW CELL PHONE!!! :love:
Although, now i don't know what to do, because the lady forgot to update my sim card and put my 50 dollars on it. I'll just call her though.
Fun stuff though, cause now i have 3 sim cards, 3 different phone numbers and 2 broken phones. Though the great news is, my refurbished phone came with a brand new headset, so i might be able to use my other semi broken one!

Today i bought, 4 lean cuisines, 1 bag nabisco thins, Gum, my phone! oh and 35calorie gummies xD :love:

Calorie wise, i'm going to be cutting it REALLY REALLY CLOSE tonight. So i better work twice as hard tonight!

I'm definatly getting into better shape i think. Last week, walking up one flight of stairs to my class would take me out of breath a little, Today i just soared up them. The real test will be on thursday, 3 straight flights :guilty: One day i think i'm just going to set up base camp 1.5 flights up. :rolleyes:

Got sent home early from work. Talked to manager and he calculated that he underpaid me by 59 dollars :earseek: So i'm awaiting my next paycheck. Off to do homework and then, exercise/watch t.v. hoping to get some free weights in. Ooh and called the lady, she said that the sim card will fill it self at midnight tonight. Going to go online and d/l some free games or something. :banana:
 
I have finally had the chance to sit down and read your entire journal. You kill me!! :rotfl2: You seem to be at top speed all of the time. You do eat some very interesting things. Where do you live?? I have never even heard of a lot of the things that you eat. :confused: You may have to explain some of them!! I can tell a huge difference in your eating habits from when you started your journal up to now. Great job!!
 
Your plan for the day looks excellent! Great job incorporating exercise into your routine. You'll get to the point where you crave working out in no time!

I live in Vancouver British columbia, Canada. It's very asian and so am i! lol Lots of japanese/korean/taiwan/hongkong imported foods here. All are very tasty but it's annoying, because they like to put the english version of the ingredients over the nutritional information. So i'm always in the aisle picking at the packaging and people are always staring at me. If you ever buy a box, with the lable half peeled off, that probably be me!

Yesterday was allright, not super but not bad either. Last night at 12:30 i had some late night eating, so once again, i will carry it over to todays overall total. By doing this, i know how many calories i intook last night, and i try to cut it out from todays rather than get frusterated and eat again. :cool1:

Heading out to school now, today will be another busy day, my other aunt is here now so my house now has 8 people in it. I'm so sleepy and hw was a nightmare. That and i was correct. Everytime i buy a phone, it's broken or needs to be fixed in someway. I'm like electronically impaired. Now if your wondering how i'm able to type on this computer, lemme tell you. It's running super slow, apparently has no memory left, and has more spyware than calories in macdonals milkshakes. Anyways the phone won't charge, so now i have to call them and ask them if they want me to bring it to them, or to the place in burnaby to get it fixed. Blah!

Keke, i have officially decided to start writing little discriptions of the food i'm eating so you guys won't imagine some wierd blobby green thing :rotfl: Today at work was good, i was a little not so satisfied with my dinner, so i took a long look at bk's menu. At first i wanted a cheeseburger so badly, then i remembered it was 360cals, so i decided to get a salad, custom made with cheese and grilled chicken only. I did have it w/ ranch, so that's not so great but i dipped my fork and used maybe 90cals of it? tops?
After work munchies were BAD very very BAD but that's okay.
Tomororw i'm going to stick to the plan 100% no deviations!

Went out today and bought 6 different lean cuisine meals. mostly around 225-310cals each. The 310calorie splurge was a pizza, it's got mushrooms and spinach on it. I will definatly update on that one. I bought my favorite, cannoli + ravioli and lasagna. mm.. soo good. I'm going to split them up over the next three days.
 
You are doing very well. And I have to agree with Karyn - some of the things you eat are very interesting but it's what you like and eat that makes you a very interesting person!!!!! Keep it up - I enjoy seeing the different types of foods. Very cool!

Keep up the good work. And good luck with all those people in your house. I'm sure you'll be happy when they are all gone and there is some quiet. But I'm also sure you are loving having them there - nothing like family to warm a house!

Wow, the days are going by so fast. I've given myselft 3 months to lose around 15-25 pounds. Hopefully by the end of this month i'll be -2-3 pounds. :cool1:

I want to thank you all for all your encouragement and support, without you i would of long given up on this journal and ran away to to land of sugar and sweets and cholesterol. I have in fact noticed that now i'm a lot better with decisions, but still kinda bad on the munchies, i'm going to try to change that though!

Yupz i broke my hair dryer, it went kaput. now my hair is soaking wet :guilty: Today i'm going to try something, the SPA! it's this mat (jets etc) you put in your bathtub and supposely you can lose like 100-300calories by using it for an hour or something. My aunt has been constantly prodding me to use it, so i'll try. Apparently it raises your internal body heat or something. *sulks* i dislike hot tubs oO letsee how i fair with this.

In reflection, i did okay. I really don't recall half the things i ate at dim sum, therefore i can only assume. That and i did a mental calculation during my meal so i kinda remember. Tonight the salad was so filling and actually quite disgusting. The person who made it thought i said extra cheese when i actually said extra lettuce, so i got like at least 1/2 cup of cheese on top. I feel sick just thinking about it. I'm slowly getting burned out from work/school there's just too much, no time to sleep. Now with family i have not much time to nap either. My b/f decided he needed time to himself, cause he has his own problems to think about. And i think at this point we should really reflect on if the relationship is worth going on, after he's better. but on the other hand it relaly pisses me off how i have to step down everytime something happens to him. I'm not even going to plan tomorrows meal, cause i'm not even sticking to it. I'm frusterated with hw, my b/f and work right now.
