Riviera sales question...

When do we project that Disney will begin to sell the new Riviera resort? For those members that remember, do they first offer points or presell it to existing DVC members? Is there a discount to buy then? Are rebates offered like they are on current resorts? Thanks for your projections and insight on what may happen.

Probably spring / summer 2020 is my guess based on previous sales patterns.

Isn't it supposed to open Fall 2019? If it's like CC they will most likely start selling in spring of 2019.

Yeah. It will be spring 2019. There will be incentives for 150+ point purchase.

I agree with the 2019 spring or fall dates, but think it will be $200 a point with not more than a $25 incentive.

Usually opens first for existing direct/grandfathered owners and later to everyone else.

Sorry I misread the question and answered it wrong anyway. Thought OP was asking when it would sell out, and I should have said summer 2021 not 2020. Agree it is up for sale in 2019.

They want to open it before Star Wars land opens. So they can sell it to the millions that will descend on Orlando for it and at the same time have 3/4 of the resort available for cash bookings to meet higher demand.
So fall 2019 as a maximum.
