Yes it opens on 12/16 so current owners (resale points prior to 1/19/19 and all direct points) can book 7 months out so starting 5/16.

Riviera Owners have been able to book for a week or two now and will continue to have exclusive access to until 5/16 when the 7 month window opens. Since not all rooms will be declared into member inventory right away I’m sure new owners who purchase less than 7 months out from their Dec/Jan travel dates will be able to work with Disney to get a “welcome home” reservation. Disney will still own a large portion of the resort and be able to pull from their cash inventory to satisfy new owners needing assistance with that first reservation.
