Well, we had to change plans...again. We will now be traveling with friends of ours, so we will be needing to go "moderate" for the week. No problem, I'll be able to go back to my second home, Riverside (Yay!) My concern is that after they are done w/ the FQ rehab, they will start working on Riverside. Will it be closed like FQ was? If so, what will happen to us as we will have already made ressies. I have 3 kids and cannot stay in a room w/ a max. for 4 people. Any help will be be appreciated. Thanks

I was told that portions of Riverside will be closed for rehab over 2004, which portions when I don[t know.

French Quarter will probably be re-opened before a significant part of Riverside is closed.

Make your reservation for five people now, and you can reasonably expect comparable accommodations permitting five at the same price when you get there.

When that happened to us in 2001 after closing POFQ the first time, we ended up at AKL for the same price! No guarantee, but they would probably offer you an upgrade at a reduced price. That's what history seems to prove. Good luck!
