riverside pull down bed question?

hi everyone i had a question that hopefully someone can answer about the pull down bed in the rooms at riverside...what size child are they made for? i was thinking of putting either my 10 year old or my 2 1/2 in there....also if i put the little man in there do they have bed rails that would go on that for him? thanks also another random question...is there a tv in those rooms...it looks like the bed is where it would be or is it just really high? thanks!!!!

My 6 to slept on it, 11 maybe could have, but would have been close, but he is tall. Didn't try bed rails, so can't answer that. Yes, there is a tv mounted on the wall right above the Murphy bed.

it is not high at all, maybe, 2 feet off the gorund, maybe when folded down

My 10 and 12 year olds both took turns sleeping on it (the 12 year old is more the size of a 10 or 11 year old). They had no problem size-wise.

ok thanks -- so its probably more age appropriate for my 10 year old (he is pretty small) then my 2 year old....ok that helps will planning. if i put my 2 year old in one of the queen beds...can u request a bed rail? thanks!

when we were there last year there was no frame on the queen beds to attach a rail to, so unless they have the ones that go under the mattress, you might be out of luck on that, we had our son 4 at the time in the fold down bed, and just tucked him into the wall, it would be a good roll and a half to get out of the bed

Stick a pool noodle under the sheet at the edge of the bed. Your child can't roll over the pool noodle.

The murphy bed at POR is about 5.5' long and about 3' wide. Larger than a crib, but smaller than a twin.

My 14-yr old slept on it in May. She is 5'3 and skinny and she just fit. She was fine on it for 5 nights, didn't complain. Yes there is a TV above the murphy bed.

Though its not explicitly stated, the murphy bed is meant for kids 12 and under (assuming average size). Someone older but smaller might fit whereas someone younger and larger may not. Either kid should fit fine!
