We are considering another trip to WDW this fall. If you had your choice between these 3 resorts, which would you choose and why? Thanks! :listen:

Loved POR.... tolerate the Values only if necessary.

Out of the three choices you provided I voted for POR. I am assuming that a moderate will not be overextending your vacation budget. If that assumption is correct then go for POR.

We stayed at POP this past April and really liked it, however I voted for POR. Pop was great for a couple of nights but I wouldn't want to stay again for a week. We are planning our next trip in May and are trying to decide which mod or maybe rent DVC points. Decisions, decisions!! ;)

POR will just give you so much more room (in your room)! We stayed 1 night at Pop in April, and although the theming was neat, the room was TINY (and we are just 2 adults). Literally almost had to stand on the bed to get the suitcases in the door.

More square footage, recently rehabbed rooms, dual sinks, better resort amenities - POR all the way!

I'm actually staying at POR week after next...but personally, between the three I would go with POP. We usually stay at either AKL or the Poly, but if we go more than once a year we've been staying at POP. Maybe it's just me...but I don't see that much difference between the values and the mods. And actually, I like the food court at POP better. If it were me, I would go with POP and spend the extra money on a couple more nice meals. The only reason we're staying at POR is b/c we got such a good price it just didn't make sense to pass it up.

Are all the POR rooms newly remodled?

Yes they have been rennovated. We were just at POR in March 2005 for Spring Break and the room was fresh and new. I've only stayed at POR and we LOVE it, in a month we'll be at AS Movies so I hope we will like it. This will be my first solo trip just me and the kids, usually my parents take us. It was a last minute trip and I'm on a budget so I decided to go with a Value resort. We spend very little time at the resort so I honestly think it will be just fine for us.
As for what I love about POR, the landscaping, the relaxed beautiful Southern Charm atmosphere, Boatwrights for breakfast, Bob Jackson the all ages piano man, and the boat to DTD. It's a great resort. Hopefully in about a month I'll be able to say wonderful things about AS Movies :cool1:

:sunny: Definately go for POR if you can. It will give your trip that little extra leisure feeling. Something very special in my opinion. We would be staying there next December in money allowed. We will if a better rate comes available between now and then. :flower:
