I have heard multiple things but the last thing I heard I thought it had been pushed back to 17 but then I thought I saw something the other day saying it was opening soon.

Does anyone know because we are going the week between xmas and new years and I would love to see it. I have dinner ressies right now at Sanaa but it would be nice to know if we need to change that.

I am right there with you and would like to finalize my ADRS too. I have Boma reservations but not sure when the time of ROL will be.

Also with you guys... I'm expecting that we'll hear about soft openings before there are dining packages. That's must my guess based on the premature announcement of opening last time - they won't make that mistake again.

Yea way to wait till the last minute LOL. In fact when I did Sanaa 6 months ago the hours for AK were closing at 5 Now I see they are closing at 8 which makes me think that something is going on. Sure would be nice but I guess we just have to keep waiting. At least cancelling dinner is easy but I want to make sure we have SOMEWHERE to eat if we end up staying. Not sure about the dinning packages. :/

and not likely that Disney has been "holding" ADRs for whenever ROL does open. Does not make sense to hold back ADRs when paying customers could be eating at the AK restaurants; especially with opening date so up in the air for so long

I made a TH breakfast ADR almost 6 months ago in hopes that ROL dining packages would be available. we will be eating there next Monday and am looking forward to it.

Well ............ lots of folks are tossing out lots of soft opening dates, preview dates, opening dates, dining package dates .............

I would trust nothing until it actually opens, actually runs glitch free, actually resets and runs more than once per night.

Until it does that ............ it's not fully functional and I wouldn't plan around it.

When it opens, it opens.

I would not plan around it, but I might be flexible if they actual try to open, and you want to brave the chaos.

Regardless of RoL we had planned on AK being a late arrival day because we want to see the Tree lighting. If there is no RoL showing we may head out to Disney Springs after the Tree lighting.

I have been waiting for soooo long for concrete news for our Dec trip. Of course we were hoping for the May trip earlier this yr and we all know how that went. I am truly thinking it will be just dumb luck if we see it in 2016 and just plan on trying for May 2017.

Any recent news on testing progress? We were hearing about pretty extensive testing in mid-October, but haven't heard anything since.

Been reported on here a few times that there was a "minor float collision" very recently ..... minor relates to damage but there is nothing minor about floats still not able to stay on course.

And reports that soft was to start a week ago ............. crickets.

I was with CM friend last weekend ......... I casually brought it up ............... I got spontaneous laughter.

Disney would do best to keep this thing very tight but the fact they have announced so many other night things happening and nothing about this .............. doesn't seem like they are confident.
