We will be visiting Animal Kingdom park at the end of April. I wanted to make dinner reservations but we don't want to miss Rivers of Light if it is up and running by then. The park is closing at 6:30 the day we are looking at and I am assuming the show will be at 6:30 but I wanted to see if anyone else had heard anything as to the approximate time of the show. Also does anyone have the latest on an approximate opening date? Thank you!

Rumor for opening date is Earth Day, which is April 22nd, but that is not confirmed at all. I would consider that a best case scenario as far as how early it will be open.

Latest rumor as of this morning is that the official 'relaunch' of AK will be on Earth Day. I'm also hearing that ROL may be up in March. Once the show opens they will adjust park hours accordingly - it will not be at 6:30. I would make dinner reservations at or near AK, and then change them as soon as official ROL opening news comes out. It is rumored that the new signature restaurant Tiffins will have dining packages for ROL, which could be ideal if you're willing to do signature prices. The new of ROL's opening will be all over the Dis when it happens - just check back every day and you'll (hopefully) have time to adjust your plans. Good luck!

It's likely park hours will be extended. I can't see them running the show at 6:30 since it won't be completely dark out.

Approximate opening, mid to late march with official opening in April.

I disagree I think we could very well see it open before that.

That seems ambitious but at least when it opens its going to have large crowds its not unexpected. I have heard two shows a night.
I agree. I think 2 is more likely. I think they'll struggle with fitting in 3 shows when the sun sets really late. Most of the nights when sun sets early it won't be as crowded and 3 shows won't be necessary.

Thanks, so it's only up on android?
No, that just happened to be the title of that thread. The glitch that is being referenced isn't even there anymore, Andriod or otherwise.

The link was posted because the updates with the latest info is in the thread.
