Rivers of Light -Will Disney Offer a Dining Dinner Package or FP+?

At World of Color at California Adventure, Fastpass is required to get into the viewing area. I wouldn't be at all surprised is Rivers of Light did something similar

According to the World of Color Superthread on the DLR Board, there is a stand-by/walk up area (no FP required) for viewing at WOC - #6 on the map. It isn't fantastic viewing, but it's available.

FP+ is a given. A dining package... Hmm... Disney gets your to make a table service reservation for a bonus of seats that would otherwise be free? How could they resist?

There's very little I'm willing to shell out $300 (for all 3 of us) to see. I would live with not seeing rol at all if that was my only option. The trip to disney is expensive enough.

Totally agree with you!!!! If they charged a price just to see ROL that would have me completely convinced they have become totally GREEDY!!

I've heard around 5000 seated guests. Standing I don't know.

Aside from the issue with limited availability, "seated" is such a beautiful word! Standing room only at WOC is such a pain when you're tired at the end of a park day and need to arrive early for a good viewing area. I can walk all day, but hate to just stand in place for a long time.

Poor planning by Disney, to be sure. I don't know if Disney anticipated the dessert parties when they built Fantasmic, but you could make it work with a series of terraced patios by remodeling part of the amphitheatre. Unlikely to happen now, but it would've been trivial to have built it that way in the first place.
