Will Rivers of Light be a separate ticket item or an addition to AK for all to enjoy at no additional cost?
Is it a show like Fantasmic with seating or more like Illuminations?
If its an attraction that is included with regular park tickets, do you think that with this addition to AK it will become an afternoon-night park versus a morning-afternoon park for those who consider it a half day park? (my family tends to think of it as a whole day park, but will probably only spend half a day here on our next trip)
Thanks!

It doesn't sound like it will be a separate ticket. They are building an amphitheater for it, with seating. They have been auditioning dancers, and they cannot do fireworks.

They are also adding night safaris at AK, although no one knows which other attractions or trails will stay open at dark as yet.

From the pictures I've seen, it's going to be like Fantasmic. It is also a lot smaller seating area from pictures I've seen than Rivers of Light. The estimates I've heard is anywhere between 2500-3000 seating/standing. This is included with admission. There may be a dining package like for Fantasmic, but hasn't been announced yet. My thought is this becomes an Afternoon-Night Park for now until Avatar opens in 2017. Then, it becomes a full day park definitely. Depends on how high capacity the attractions in that area are.

What month are they looking at for opening show and what time do you guys think it will be

There's been no official announcement for opening. The rumor (and that's all it is) is earth day for both ROL and the evening safari. It will have to be scheduled for after sunset, so the time will vary during the year.

It's no extra cost it's just a night time show like wishes or illuminations.

It will be mostly seated so like fantasmic.

This will be a full day park.

I'm hearing even earlier than earth day.

and we were told by someone mid level that there would be multiple shows per night - they are shooting for 3 shows per night 22 minutes per show

If you were comparing shows, nothing in WDW compares right now. The closest match being discussed would be something similar to World of Color at DLR.
