Rivers of Light Dining Package Lookout Thread - NOW ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS

Changed my browser and immediately was able to swap out my regular TH reservation for a Jungle Book one! Relieved because this is our last night in the parks.

Can you tell us which browser you used? What was your reservation for: breakfast, lunch, or dinner? I'm tempted to switch mine out, but I'm worried that I will just end up losing my regular TH reservation, especially since it seems like only breakfast ones have been available so far. Thanks for the help!

I was ready to reserve for 11 am (August) Tusker House for the Jungle Book package when I noticed that no dining plan is being accepted. Hope this changes.

Where did you see that the Tusker House Jungle Book package doesn't accept the dining plan. I thought they did according to the Disney Parks Blog. This is what I read on there:
Similar to the popular Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Dining Package includes reserved seating for the nighttime show. At all-you-care-to-eat Tusker House Restaurant, you can choose the breakfast, lunch or dinner buffet on the day of the show (but you have to dine at least 2 ½ hours before the show). Breakfast is $37, $23 ages 3 to 9, plus tax and gratuity; lunch and dinner, $49, $30 ages 3 to 9, plus tax and gratuity. Tusker House Restaurant is on the Disney Dining Plan and counts as one table-service meal.

It's all so confusing!

I think that the word SELECT is important. I think that is there because it won't work with the quick service plan since it is a table service credit. I could definitely be wrong, but I don't think they would say it is okay in the blog if it isn't. If I were you I'd snatch that up while I could and then try to get confirmation. Otherwise it will be gone. If it turns out that they don't take the dining plan at all then you could release it since you've got plenty of time.

I know that the website mentions it's one table service entitlement, but my confirmation email says "this restaurant does not participate in the Disney dining plan". So, I'm not sure.

Had a 10:50 TH breakfast and got the same time for the same day. Switched to from Safari to Firefox and went from nothing to showing the time I wanted. I would clear cookies, too. Sometimes the website gets picky (at least it does for me especially when trying to book hotel). Good luck and keep trying!!

I just booked a dinner reservation with Jungle Book 1st show for Aug. 16 at 6.30pm. Been stalking the website since 5 am (on and off) and it finally opened up. Go give it a try.

I just checked a few other random dates and they all have plenty of availability for evening time. Hope this info will help some of you. I'm going to finally take a well-deserved nap now. Good luck!!!

I was just able to book TH LUNCH PACKAGE for 8/20!! Looks like at least some of these have been loaded now...

I've read that the show is 20min long, so I would think you could make all of these.

Thanks! After issues all morning with FP I was finally able to get a 9:30 to 10:30 Safari FP+. I also moved our EE FP+ to before our Tiffins reservations so we can have a pool day in the morning then get to AK around 1 hit our first 2 FP+, dinner, and then see the tree show and JB and finish off the night with the Safari. I am so excited this all worked out. Now just to wait for September packages and stuff to come out so I can plan that trips dinner.

Thanks so much for posting this! I checked again and was able to get a 4:00 TH Jungle Book package on 5/31. That's the first time anything has shown up all day!

There seems to be a glitch in the confirmation email. The "event info" before booking says DDP is accepted so I wouldn't worry too much.

This is a night time show but I don't believe fireworks are involved. It will be a unique telling of the jungle book story using the water screens and barges that will later be apart of Rivers of Light.
