Rivers of Light Dining Package Lookout Thread - NOW ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS

I just got 8/7 breakfast at 10:45. Want dinner or lunch and not on our first park day (we arrive the night before) BUT at this point I will take it and try later to get lunch or dinner on another day and cancel this. It is at TH and a few other times popped up for breakfast that day.

I tried this date for several times and party sizes as soon as you posted and it says nothing available. Why does Disney hate me?

Until what time do they keep the breakfast items on the buffet?

I've read that if you have a late breakfast res they stop replenishing breakfast and one buffet is already starting lunch. Also, if you have a 1030am abs it takes 20 minutes to get seated breakfast is pretty much done.

You know, I really feel bad for the "common folk" who don't know about the dis, or other informed sites. They will call and be told ROL packages are booked and gone, sorry too bad, and just give up not knowing that if they try again later that day, or next week, or whenever, that they could get them.

This type of misinformation given to the front line CM on the phone is completely unacceptable.

Ha! This would have been me. I just joined dis a week ago and never would have known to book rol dining when I did. Love dis!

Keep trying. Times keep on popping up and disappearing so quickly. I cancelled my 9:20 when I got my 10:40, and it never reappeared. After I got the 10:40, I tried searching again for a more desirable time. Eventually I saw a 10:35. Didn't bother changing it for 5 minutes, and hit refresh again, and it was gone. So it was literally there for 15 seconds.

We are a party of 2--- I did like someone recommended and did 1030 am for search. I hit refresh a few times too.

Finally got what I need for 8/19. I split our 6 into 2 and 4 and was able to get it that way. Hopefully we're not on complete opposite sides of the restaurant but beggars can't be choosers. I'm happy to have anything at this point

Yes, I finally got TH at 10:10am for the 21 st. Changed time to 10am and up popped two times.

I got a 9:20 for 8/18. About the worst time you could possibly get. Grabbed it for now, but hopefully something else comes up

I would have checked once and given up - same as every other day for weeks! But I kept trying and finally a time popped up!
8/13 - 10:30 Just what I wanted.

My husband just spent an hour on the phone moving up the chain of command. They don't know what the heck is going on, but everything is NOT loaded, clearly. Hopefully, some IT guy in a cubicle somewhere has an idea what he is doing! The sad thing is that I am totally open to Tiffin's and that can't be booked at all.

In the meantime, I have landed two very non-ideal adrs for breakfast. One interferes with our California Grill brunch and one interferes with our Beaches & Cream Kitchen Sink. Can't re-schedule either right now (brunch only on Sundays and, well party of 5 at B&C is always difficult).

I wouldn't give up either of those two reservations for Tusker House IMO. My worst case scenario is to get a FP.

That's AWESOME! I've been refreshing like crazy since 10am and nothing. I switch between 10am, 10:30am, and 11am randomly just in case it makes a difference.

2 hours on hold with Disney got me the following "intel":
Guest Relations CM: Rivers of Light Packages for August have been available to book for at least a couple weeks now, and now they are all sold out (except when I called 2 DAYS ago on Monday, I was told they were not available yet?)
Dining Reservations CM: Tusker House calendar is loaded, but there is no availability loaded yet. Tiffins is only available for lunch, but there is no availability for the entire week I am there (mid-August), and this gem - the first showing of Rivers of Light will be from 4:30PM-5:30PM

They must be filtering something good into the air over at Disney's call center
