I am hearing so many different things regarding this show. I'm going to say spring at the earliest.

Well they have definitely shown people the show, its just they can't keep it going to show it on a daily basis it seems.

I'm sitting in the back of ROL theater which is being used as Finding nemo stroller parking waiting for my family to come out of the finding nemo show. It doesn't look like ROL will be starting anytime soon.

It wasn't all that long ago I suggested August 2017 might be questionable, and was told that was ridiculous, and here we are looking at maybe spring 2017 or later . . . . I'm still not going to place bets on it being open when we are there in August.

It's looking to the point where we might not even get the original show as planned. Things are still so in flux though that this could debut tomorrow nd it wouldn't surprise people.

Saw an interesting article on WDW Magic this morning. They are saying that it's going to be having Cast Member previews this weekend: http://www.wdwmagic.com/attractions...member-previews-taking-place-this-weekend.htm. Maybe, we actually get it before the Holidays if this goes well. I also heard on Parkscope this morning that this may not happen until Spring and it's going to be tons of Characters, so take any of this with a grain of salt.

Cast member previews seem to be happening which is a very good sign.

My guess is if they're in Team Member Previews. We get an announcement Monday or Tuesday of next week for a total guess at a 12/9 Opening. I think that would tip the scales towards me buying a two day Park Hopper for Easter Sunday and Monday of Celebration.

Sorry, are you saying that you are guessing that by next Monday or Tuesday you'll be getting an opening date announcement? (and 12/9 is just pulled out of thin air or is that your educated guess?) :-D

I'm hoping it opens early Dec since I arrive on the 9th, but I'm not holding my breath considering everything Also I'm guessing it will be insane trying to get a spot to watch that early after opening.

It's my educated guess on opening and when they announce the opening date. They want a couple of weeks to build the hype on this and do some attendee soft openings on this. People have been waiting for over a year in hype for this show.

I really hope we get to see this. We are planning to be at AK on Christmas Day!
