On Friday, 3/15, Disney added a 2nd show to ROL.

Does the normal parade/show rule apply that 2nd show is less busy?

I have a Fp+ for the 1st show but want to replace with another ride, but my DD absolutely must see ROL, so before I cancel I want to get opinions on if there’s plenty of seating at 2nd show?

Thanks!

We went to a RoL 2nd performance in early June. We had picked up FPs just prior to showtime but didn't need them as the amphitheater was only about a third full. We had walked by earlier while the 1st performance was in progress and the place appeared to be packed for that one.

If it were me, I would change your FP to something else earlier in the day so that you're not locked in to only 3. You can then use refresh to add more FPs throughout the day then add a RoL later if you want to. I believe that the RoL that we added was our 11th FP for that day.

You’re welcome, and I hope you enjoy your visit.

You’re not going to get much feedback on late night activities simply because there aren’t as many guests in the parks late into the evening.
Then, who was I standing behind at Star Wars fireworks, Happily Ever After, IllumiNations, and the lines into Fantasmic!?? :)

Other than Fantasmic, three of those 4 shows only go off once per night. Go to the late Fantasmic sometime. It’s not crowded at all. The rides aren’t either during those early or once per evening shows.
