Come on over here if you wanna chat about coffee https://www.disboards.com/threads/dvc-coffee-snob-thread-non-snobs-welcome-too.3978250/

Makes perfect sense to me!!The key for me is to have some direct Riv points. That way the resale points can be combined with your direct for Riv stays, or be used instead of direct points, freeing those up for other resorts.
There is no way that I will ever have a year that I don't stay at Riv for at least ONE trip, so having a small number of resale points makes sense in that respect.
We own at BCV and VGC and the BCV IG is so so so much faster than VGC’s main entrance these days…even with the walk from the furthest Villa, time saved in security makes it even faster.^ fixed it for you (lol)
And that’s how the tradition of rope dropping Toppolino’s began….... ssshhhhh... for breakfast, I think if you arrive at open…
I am never sure if any of the specific coffees should be blamed or simply the Florida water.I agree re Boma! Great coffee.
I did not like the Kona coffee at Poly. I think a lot of it comes down to what type of coffee you drink on the daily. I'm a French Roast drinker, so I dislike anything with a "tangy" finish.
[jack skellington voice] What’s this? What’s this!ETA: And for those that didn't know Riviera has a beach, you'll pass it on the way!
See my fear is that after my husband actually stays at RIV he’ll start complaining about staying at BCV…so we may not be staying there until the late 2030s…My husband dismisses staying at RIV. In his mind it can’t compete with BWV loctaion. He also loves VGF. That’s his fav….He can’t see it though. So I need to play the game. He’d book if I really wanted to try it, or if the kids asked to stay there. But it will also be doing him the favor lolI bet it’ll end up one of his top preferred resorts.
Love to grab an afternoon latte at the Joffrey’s transfer station…but I would assume that line is INSANE between 8-9AM….does anybody know?See this could get me! I want my coffee asap and dont want to go hunting it down. Grabbing at the Skyliner station is a game changer!
Just left BCV on Monday. Gonna try to check this out.Yep. The button shows up during the time you qualify. It’ll show up the same as these buttons:

Those buttons can be accessed by clicking on a room after searching a date range.
Hmmm, I'm not sure. I would think you could if far enough away. It's on the far side of the resort from the Skyliner station. Can you see it from the skyliner as you’re cruising along the Caribbean Beach segment?
Is the Island playground the green area just below “beach resort” on the map?

Does disneyland do this bb too?Yep. The button shows up during the time you qualify. It’ll show up the same as these buttons:

Looks like at least a 1 mile circuit from the hotel, I’m my sense of scale is right? Your description sounds so lovely… and the whole CB area looks incredibly charming from the skyliner, but there’s never been a WDW trip where my body (especially feet and legs) don’t feel like it’s falling apart by the flight home. We tend to do 18,000-25,000 steps a day, this trip we averaged higher than that, crisscrossing EPCOT for F-Arts activities.Yes, it is.

Either way, I solve the problem by ordering outrageous lattes that have at least 4 ingredients to hide the taste of the coffee.

I think that is about right - definitely not more than a mile. And, I hear you on that feeling of exhaustion after a day in the parks. I can't remember whether we did it on more of a non-park day or not. I think maybe we did. Or course, my kids are still young enough that they get strollers for park days, so they sometimes need Mom and Dad to dig a little deeper after pushing them around all day and do some more things to wear them out!Looks like at least a 1 mile circuit from the hotel, I’m my sense of scale is right? Let me know how it goes! That actually does seem like a perk that should be limited to hotel guests. Now I have to rope drop Topolinos. I dont think my dining reservation window has opened yet!
Maybe you already know this, but if you're at RIV and don't have a reservation, I think you can also just join the walk-up wait list from the MDE app. I want to say I checked it a few times on our last trip, and the app was estimating a table in as little as 10-15 minutes. Never actually made it, so don't know how accurate that was.Now I have to rope drop Topolinos. I dont think my dining reservation window has opened yet!
Unfortunately noDoes disneyland do this bb too?
Probably due to the different demographics and how many rooms WDW needs to keep filled. We have only been one time, back before DVC, we took the Skyliner over from Pop. I remember walking the grounds and being like this is how the wealthy live.
