River Country update

As you can see there are survey stakes in some of the pics

But, it looks like you made a typo in your post.

Are you saying 5 castmembers were able to stop you?

If it only took five, you better tell me that one of them had a Taser. . .

And used it. . .

Or, I'm going to have to revoke your man card.

So, I have never been behind the fences of River Country, and I don't recognize this area from the photos that others (not me) have taken.

What area, exactly, are we looking at here?

It looks like the last couple photos were taken while they were tackling him .

Is that the old restroom/dressing area? I went to River Country once but I remember very little about it.

What's up with the survey markers?

In that 2nd photo it looks like to me that a survey crew has been in there. They normally hack trees off like that with a machete to get a line of sight to the next point.

This and the pics that TCD posted a few weeks ago of the other stakes lead me to believe that some construction may happen soon. I may be totally wrong, but I have some experience with this type of stuff. The pics that TCD posted had stakes labeled "boring #xxxx". Such a high consecutive boring number makes me think that those were geotechnical borings. They are done to asses soil conditions prior to any construction or foundation work. It is possible that they could be borings to test for contaminant impact, but I doubt that Disney has done so many of these type. If so, WDW is a very contaminated place.

I really was a bit perplexed about where in River Country these photos were taken. So, I reviewed some of my photo archives.

I then realized Discamper is pulling our legs.

These are basic through the fence shots.

I took photos of this area just last month.

See?:

In my first photo, above, you can even see the same black trash bag as in Discamper's photo.

But, the survey stake that you see in Discamper's photo is not there.

So, this was placed within the last month.

Sorry, but I am going to have to give you a fail on this one.

If you did go through the fence, it looks like you only made it about a foot before they Tased you.

I do give you credit for taking the photos while you were being taken in to custody.

But, they just aren't good enough.

You can do better than this.

Well I just talk to a bus driver who has a friend that is life guard at Wet & Wild who knows someone at Universal is saying the survey sticks are for a new hotel that a garbage man found plans for in the trash

First of all I wouldn't trust the life guards w Wet & Wild to give me the time of day.
Secondly the hotel the garbage man found in the trash is going up next to Pop Century
Lastly, I have it from a reliable source that has a friend that know a bus driver that gets on well with one of the life guards and he says that they are going to be putting in a enclosed water part that will be open to all campers except those that have taken pictures of out of bounds areas in FW.
