River Country to be demolished

This will actually reduce mosquitos IMO. The pools are seperated from Bay Lake, correct? So they don't get the waves & ripples that the lake gets. The dead pools were truly "standing water".
I understand that's not the "be all end all", but it is a small measure.

To be clear, I'm 0.0% concerned about Zika. I am majorly concerned about general mosquito bites however.

I make it a point to get some pics of the upper pool each year when we stay at Fort Wilderness. Just to give you an idea of how they look today.

Thanks for posting the photos. We stayed at WL in 2010 and 2011 and didn't even know this was there, decaying away. Is interesting to see it.
 

I update them each trip and post over on the camping forum. Funny to think that next time it may be just a picture of some dirt.
